Originally opened in 1928. We always look for the local none chain restaurants when we travel. This place is hands above any chain restaurant. Grits made with butter and water. Biscuits and gravy were great. Loved the local patrons. Reasonable prices! Staff was wonderful.

Lea's of Monroe was a great little diner. I got the eggs, sausage, toast, and some hashbrowns. The toast was super thick and buttery. The service was good and the staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.
