First time visit. Had roast beef poboy, which was great; fries not so much, they tasted as if were old/stale. Over all I would visit again.

My sister and I visited Melvyn's and decided to eat there. They have very delicious chicken strips and warm soft fries. You can also get brown gravy with your fries and chicken strips. It was cozy in there with nice dim lights. The honey mustard was fresh and good. The lemonade and coke drink was fresh and good as well.
I recommend trying this place.

Went here for lunch food was ok at best went to pay waitress said my card didn’t go through ran card again she said went through. Was double charged called to get it corrected and still not corrected. Paid double for not so great food.

I visited this place a few months back, and it was quite enjoyable. Somewhat expensive, but the food tastes good!

Fish and fries were good. Peas were cold. Not even room temp.

If you’re on a mission for a cheeseburger so juicy it could drown out your existential crises, look no further than Melvyn’s. This burger? Moist-moist. Grilled to perfection like it’s starring in a burger romance novel. Prices are so reasonable, you’ll wonder if they know how good this thing is.

Only minor hiccups: the fries and onion rings could use a little more seasoning to join the flavor party happening on the rest of the plate. And the water? Let’s just say it’s got that ‘earthy’ vibe, like it was bottled straight from a brook. But the chicken tenders—now, those are something else. They’re massive, like I was dining on a baby dinosaur. And that batter? Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned, like a crunchy shield protecting all the juicy goodness inside.

But the best part? For just $14, you can get a caricature of yourself mid-bite, capturing you as the burger-loving superhero. Melvyn’s, we might not make it back anytime soon, but you treated us right, and we highly recommend others experience the goodness.

The waitress was very sweet and checked on us regularly. However, the hamburgers where nothing burgers! Onion rings very greasy. Fried pickles had so much batter it stole the pickle taste . Won't dine there again.

Best hamburger in Monroe period. Just an old fashioned burger.

Great food! Love it all but my favorites are Hamburger Steak, Chesseburger with fresh cut fries, and homemade Fried Chicken! Love the plate lunches! Everybody is so friendly!
