I worked here when I went up to Monroe to sober up and get my life together... The burgers and hamburger steaks are hand-stuffed fresh every morning and seered on a fired up grill until cheese and onions are bursting out of the tops of them.... We serve them sizzling and the fries are just as hot and fresh. They serve buffalo wings, fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, fried chicken tacos, and homemade onion rings...You can sit at the bar and have a beer while watching a your favorite team play on the big screens... Or you can watch them from a table with the wife and kids... Whether there or to go, the experience is awesome... Been in business for over 30 years for a reason, ya know... Couldn't ask for a better boss... Firm believers in Christ and giving second chances to people who need them the most. I miss it out there so bad.

roast beef 10/10 I LIKE IT!! THIS IS ME AFTER EATING AT
Empty on a Friday night . Burger was hard/ over cooked. My date ordered the grilled chicken it was horrible over cooked . The server was bothered by our presence in the restaurant she made sure to let that be known . Most of the tables were dirty . I wanted to support a local restaurant instead of a chain but I wish I had went to a chain .

I have no idea of what this restaurant is like now because it's been since the late 1970s since I've been there at it was on North 18th Street. It had the best juicy burgers and the sweetest orange sodas that I've ever tasted besides the old Orange Crush sodas and the sodas from the 5 & dime on DeSiard Street downtown. When I was in high-school this was a lynch time retreat.

Heard about place through Google and decided to check it out. It is a hidden gem. Nice lil restsurant bar and grill. It is a casual and comfortable atmosphere with good music and good service. Food was delicious ? the fried pickles and mini tacos were really good. I tried the roast beef po boy and my husband had a hamburger and both were really good. Will definitely eat here again.
