Very good experience the wheat chips were awesome!! The steak has a very very strong Smokey flavor that I didn’t not very much care for but everyone else at the table enjoyed. The chicken was very good though! Rice was pretty bland and so was the fry’s. Over all very good experience in my opinion!

For the past 3 years I have ate here every Friday night with my friend group. It could be 3 of us or 15 of us. We always get the same great service and amazing food. Alberto and his crew are the best. Oliver, Julia and Nancy are our favorites and we enjoy making this our hangout every Friday night.
They have 2 for 1 margaritas and 2 for 1 draft beer which makes it even more awesome. We can get our drinky drink on and relaxed after a long work week. This place has an awesome vibe and a wide variety of food. From authentic spicy Mexican to juicy grilled steaks. You have to go and give them a try! You will not be disappointed!

I went with my wife for lunch after a recommendation. I ordered fajitas and requested pico on the side due to a tomato allergy. The food came with tomatoes mixed in. When I politely told the waitress, the manager (Alberto) came over, spoke down to me, and rudely pointed at the menu, telling me I “need to read next time.” He got in my face, repeated himself aggressively, and dismissed my allergy concern. It felt like he assumed I couldn’t read or afford to eat there. It was disrespectful, condescending, and in my opinion racially charged. The waitress and host apologized for his behavior.

LONG READ‼️‼️‼️ Karus Leonard POST🗣️🗣️ I normally don’t post things like this, but today’s experience left my wife and me feeling disrespected and discriminated against, and I can’t stay silent. On a recommendation from my boss, my wife Shanette and I decided to try Mil Amores for lunch. She ordered a T-bone steak with a baked potato and corn on the cob, and I ordered the fajitas—specifically requesting the pico de gallo on the side because I’m allergic to tomatoes. And also, if my wife sees it, she wants some too. The food comes out, and I immediately see chunks of tomatoes mixed in. I politely told the waitress, “Hey, I’m allergic to tomatoes. That’s why I asked for it on the side.” She said she’d check with the kitchen about getting it remade. But then here’s where it gets out of hand, a man (turns out he was the manager, named Alberto) comes to the table with a menu in hand, talks down to me in a rude and condescending tone, opens the menu, and literally starts pointing and reading out loud like I’m a child: “Next time you need to know what you're ordering…” I calmly told him, “I didn’t look at the full menu. I’ve had fajitas at other restaurants with just bell peppers and onions.”His response? “Next time you need to read!” Then he leans over, gets in my face, and repeats it again—“Next time read”—like he was trying to provoke me. I told him to get out of my face and bring me the check. He says, “We’ll remake it.” So I ask, “Then why are you still standing in my face?”He claims, “You should’ve told someone you’re allergic.” I replied, “I did. That’s why I asked for the pico on the side.” He then said, “Pico and tomato are not the same.” I literally pointed at the tomato pieces and said, “Are these not tomatoes?” He argued again and continued in a tone and posture that was clearly trying to bait me into reacting. Even the waitress and the host apologized on the way out because they knew he was out of line. Let me be clear:I wasn’t trying to get over.I didn’t ask for a discount.I just wanted to be safe and treated with respect. Instead, I was treated like a criminal or a scammer simply because I’m Black. The way Alberto spoke to me, his assumption that I couldn’t read or afford my meal, and the dismissive attitude—it was racist, condescending, and completely unacceptable. This is EXACTLY why some businesses don’t last. People want good food, yes—but they also want to be treated with basic decency. Food: 3/10 Service: 1/10 Experience: Absolutely Disrespectful I do not recommend Mil Amores in Sterlington, and I will be sharing this experience across all platforms until the owners address it properly. #OurMoneyMatters #RespectIsFreeDiscriminationCost #DonePissedPastorOff @highlight #fypシ

Our family of four had a fantastic first dinner here! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the spacious, clean interior, inviting bar, and lively atmosphere. We were seated immediately, and the service was top-notch throughout our meal.
We started with drinks and the spinach dip, which came with fantastic chips—definitely superior to the complimentary salsa chips, though the salsa itself was fresh and delicious. For entrees, the ribeye quesadilla and soft beef tacos were highlights. The steak in the quesadilla was perfectly cooked, and the beef tacos were incredibly well-seasoned with fresh, warm tortillas. While the pork street tacos weren't quite to our taste (a bit bland and overly spicy from a habanero sauce), the ribeye tacos and chicken taco salads ordered by others at our table looked and tasted wonderful. The rice and beans were standard Tex-Mex fare. We were too full for dessert, but we're already planning our next visit to explore more of the menu!
