Recently moved from south Texas and these tacos brought my wife and I back there. It was the BEST experience!! We ate street tacos and then ordered a little more because it was just so good. The Margarita on the rocks was an absolute banger as well, you will not leave hungry or feeling some type of way.
All the pricing is fair!!

Stopped by as taco enthusiast to try out their tacos for lunch. When seated the owners wife specified that they had their street size tacos for $2 today and I was like cool well let’s try them. My husband and I ordered three each, when I received the order the tacos were skimped! The tiniest of meat like you might as well not sell them for $2 if this is what you have to offer. So we paid and noticed after we left that they charged us $3.25 a taco!! The sauce is was ok as a Latina myself, you should know how to make sauce. Don’t come here during their lunch hour they’ll try to sell you a deal but it’s really a steal.

The food was amazing as always, but the service was awful. They turned the music off and all we could hear was the music in the kitchen. Papi locos is the only place that plays real Latin music like reggaeton, bachata, merengue so that’s one of the reasons we love going there. This time all we heard was the cooks type of music.
The food was mediocre at best. The waitress seemed disinterested in our orders, and had to come back to get them a second time. She brought drinks out and just set them on the table and walked away, without explaining which drink was which. When the food eventually arrived, she brought out dishes that she was guessing what they were, because she wasn't paying attention.

Probably the best tacos in the entire state of Louisiana. From the aguas frescas to the tacos and salsa, everything is phenomenal and tastes homemade and authentic. I will definitely come here anytime I’m traveling through the state. Service was outstanding as well. Staff made me feel welcome from moment I walked in.

I couldn’t figure out the smell when I walked in but it wasn’t good, after sitting down for 3 minutes we saw an elderly woman without shoes walking out of the kitchen. This was one of the most disgusting experiences I’ve ever had. Had to peel our waitress away from her 3 friends at the bar to let her know we would not be ordering and would like the check.
