Christy Ribs.It happened once before. I was done with the place until a friend asked me to pick yp some ribs. They insisted on Podnuhs US 165 as it was close and despite my warning that I had a bad experience with this place. On Saturday Feb 24, 2024 I purchased yet more bad ribs from this place. The Ribs looked to be ok from. beyond the plexiglass window as the server sliced them with ease. Carried the ribs to friends house within 20 mins. Now they are a believer. Those that were not too crispy appeared to be frost bit then cooked.I was never certain as to what Podnuh's consider as fresh or quality meat but it's certain they have lost yet another customer.

Ribs had obviously been reheated. They were so tough from the crisped meat I couldn’t tell if I was eating ribs or work boots. Also completely flavorless.

My second review on this establishment in the last six months. This time was my last trip there . Bought over a hundred dollars of food and with the items came small buns . They were out of small buns and refused to give me the larger ones they had on hand . Person preparing my food stop twice in the process and went and served other customers . Owner manager ? Closed 30 minutes before closing, Argued with me and said they were the supervisor, manager , and owner all in one. Have eaten here before, same experience. Dry and old food! Sad to see a good establishment being ran in the wrong hands.

I bought a 3 rib plate the meat was dry and hard I didn't get the toast that came with my food I had to get back to work the food was uneatable I will never eat there again 17.66

I will never eat at this Podnuh's again. I came today and bought a two meat plate. It was nothing but fat no brisket. I'm am very disappointed, I ordered two two meat plates we did not get our toast. I spent all that money for a little amount of food!
Barbecue was satisfactory but the sides weren't to my liking. The noise of the drive through required me to repeat my order 3 times & it still was right. However the portions were good size for the price.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!HORRIBLE ATTITUDES!!HORRIBLE FOOD!!!My husband and I stopped in the Monroe Louisiana location at 10:55am on 08-30-23.The dark skinned lady with the long braided hair (with orange braids) had NO HAIR NET OR ON WHILE CUTTING UP THE MEATS! She had an EXTREMELY NASTY ATTITUDE TOWARDS EVERYONE!No chicken and sausage was ready.The food was COLD!!! ALL OF IT!!!

I’m long time enjoyer of Podnuh’s BBQ here in monroe. I’ve been coming here ever since I was a kid. Today was the first time i’ve been in a while and probably the last time. As usual, the beans were phenomenal. This certain instance, i sit down with my food, and there is a fly, that was missing a few of its legs, and one of its wings on a piece of meat on my plate. I almost vomited. If you want to go somewhere that is decently clean, avoid Podnuh’s in Monroe. The workers here today were also not very welcoming.

On July 4, 2023 My husband and I traveled 1 hour to the Sterlington Road Location to pick up dinner for our family, we had a hour and 20 minutes wait time in drive through which was okay with us because it was our choice to remain in line during the high traffic which may have been prompted by the holiday. The driver through cashiers were kind and very professional although it was a very busy peak. However the problem comes in after receiving or food and leaving the location. As we begun preparing to eat we realized the the food was not edible. The ribs for so rough and tough was no type or seasoning or flavor but carried a bloody aroma, the potatoes salad was horrible like it was made with mustard only and if the potatoes themselves was missing. The baked beans was not at it normal taste or consistency and the toast was like plain white bread white butter spread over one side. My family and I have been eating from this restaurant for many many years we when are in the Monroe area and never have I never had this horrible experience. I understood that the restaurant was going to be closed on July 5th per the voicemail, However I reached out via telephone on July 6th and 7th and the voicemail that was on stating that the restaurant will be closed on July 5th is still on and there is no way to contact the restaurant by way of telephone at this time. You will only get the company’s voicemail which is full. I was trying to reach a member of management or owner to report the service. As for my family and I we had to purchase another meal from a second food chain and trash our meal from PODNUH’S. There was a hour travel time back home, In total we lost 2 hours and 20 minutes in time, $$ Money on our meals and spent extra on meal replacements. Worst Experience Ever… Not to mention still unable to contact the restaurant. Mr and Mrs Stewart
