Standard Coffee Co. – A Must-Visit in Monroe!
I’m visiting Monroe from North Carolina with Hope Center Ministries, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with this coffee shop! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel truly at home.
On my first visit, I had an iced mocha that was perfectly balanced and refreshing while I enjoyed the beautiful local artwork displayed throughout the shop. The next day, I tried the White Lightning and an apple coffee cake muffin, both of which were incredible! The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the muffin was the perfect treat to start my morning.
Every visit has been consistently wonderful, from the warm service to the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. I highly recommend Standard Coffee Co. to anyone visiting Monroe! ☕️

It came up in my search for specialty coffee and I lucked out, as it is the real deal for coffee aficionados like me. I deviated from my standard black and enjoyed their raspberry swirl with an avocado toast. Recommended.

It was amazing!!! The food was FANTASTIC!!! I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese, and it was perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing! I also got the Red Velvet Mocha Latte (iced) and it was a great blend of sweetness, milk, and espresso! I would definitely recommend coming to Standard!

Cool little local spot. Team is friendly and attentive. Small selection of local pastries, great coffee, fairly large and comfy seating area. The pastries are from a cool local restaurant as well. Definitely worth a stop!
