This used to be the best steak in town. That has changed over the last few months and this is our last visit. On this visit, our expensive steaks were nothing but a salt bomb. I might as well have went to a cow pasture and ate the salt lick. We informed the waiter and he came back to offer a dessert. Hey genius, you do not come to Doe's for dessert! You come for STEAK. My recommendation is to go to Warehouse or Parish. ..or it IS WORTH driving to Greenville and eating at the REAL Doe's! Bring me with you!

For my wife's birthday, went to Doe's. Tamale's were great, but Filet steak too rare-ordered medium rare. The stuffed potato I ordered was not warm; I sent it back & it was returned still cool. Not good. Dessert was great.

We managed to get the last reservation, as the restaurant was packed. Every table was full. This being said, our server was spot on, pleasant and attentive. From drinks to dessert, we did not have to wait on anything. The place is run like a well-oiled machine. The menu is diverse, as is the wine list and choice of bourbons. My steak was cooked exactly to order and was wonderfully seasoned. This is a ‘must do’ when in town.

Was told by a friend about this place. I ordered Tamales with a bowl of chili on top and their huge meatballs. Topped off with a fantastic bread pudding and a few glasses of wine. I highly recommend

Josh is an awesome bartender. Friendly, great attention to detail. At dinner, our server was great and attentive, but the kitchen was very slow with getting food out. Food was great. Sits on the side of an office building, hard to find.

We visited here Bc a friend recommended it. I have to say our server Holly was awesome, she was like someone we had known forever. Very attentive and easy to cut up with. For appetizers we had spinach dip and fried shrimp.Both were delicious. We always order Ribeyes as it is our favorite type steak. Lol the smallest one is a 20 ounce, and I ordered it. As did my husband. Both were excellent and cooked medium and medium rare perfect. The mixed vegetables were okay and that was okay Bc I wasn’t there for the mixed vegetables. Another person there ordered steak and lobster tail and he also said it was amazingly good. Even though I am not a fan of lobster I had to take a picture of his Bc it did look good. Our next visit to West Monroe will include a night out at Doe’s.

Every time I go back home we go to Doe's. This is one of the best steaks I have ever had. We've eaten here many times and every time is perfect. Ask for Joshua C. if you need anything, he is the man and will take care of you.

My medium well fillet came out rare, while his medium steak came out rare. He sent his back and I sent mine back. Mine came back charbroiled and his came back bloody in the middle. Tried the tamale appetizer. Marginal, at best. The only thing good was the shrimp. Even the au gratin potato dish was mediocre. Thumbs down on this one. Better restaurants elsewhere .
