Very nice restaurant by the water. In restored warehouse. Also has patio over looking water. A piano player played music which was nice ambience, but easy to talk still. There are two tables well suited for large parties but most are for 3-4 or 2 as you would expect. Food is seafood dishes and steaks. Steak was cooked very nice. I may be biased though as this is where I proposed to my wife.
Warehouse No 1 is beautifully set on the Ouchita River - if the weather is nice sit outside. Inside is more of the old school dining feel. They had a piano player inside who played very well, we could hear him from the patio. Our server was nice and professional. They brought complimentary jalapeño hushpuppies which were very tasty - hot and crispy. They have a decent size drink menu from beer to whiskey. Our college team traveled to Monroe and was in need of a pregame meal before our match. Everyone at Warehouse No 1 was incredibly helpful and willing to work with us in our unique situation. We ordered the chicken, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and hush puppies, and everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken and the hush puppies were by far some of the best our team have had. We greatly appreciate everyones time and effort working with our team!
