Stopped in for lunch while on the road for work. Ordered the crab burger with fries and a side salad with ranch. Delicious all around!

On the recommendation of a co-worker we went to Atchafalaya Cafe. I got the seafood trio (seafood platter). The quality and the size of the shrimp, oysters, and fish were great. There was plenty on the plate as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd have to say it's the best I've had in a year or so.The potato salad wasn't near as good. It was basically just potatoes drenched in mayonnaise. I don't recommend that.

As we got there & ordered drinks it took 3 times asking for lemon for my water. The waitress could not answer any of my questions about ingredients in the food or portions size . Which is ok if new , ummm i don't think she was though. Ya never know . Then i ordered a roast beef po-boy , jar gravy big No , No ! very disappointed . My sweetheart had the shrimp stew , had to send it back rice under cooked first time , once they brought it back out they served the rice in a bowl second time , same issue at the table next to us. At this time served with over cooked rice mixed in . Frozen pre-made frozen fries were good . Go- figure . She did come out to apologize and blamed the girl's in the kitchen . I replied to her , cook on the stove and stick a finger in for measuring. Sorry not sorry, . So , you can't blame the help when you own the restaurant. And a lil effort into cooking brings a customer back . So please take pride in your business and put in the work for the price being charged. And a dehumidifier would really help to take the moisture out of air . Hopefully improving , will have your customers coming back . Very friendly employees, but left hungry & disappointed . Looking forward to improvement.

They had a huge online order the minute I walked in, the chief actually came to check on me and gave me 50% discount becasue of delay. I still made it back to work in plenty time and the frilled reddish was phenomenal ?

We had a table of 10. I ordered crab cakes for my meal. They do have specials. All of our food came out together and was hot. Excellent service and food.

This used to be my favorite place to get fried catfish. Then they started serving Swai, a nasty farmed fake catfish from Asia. It tastes terrible and they charge you the same price as catfish. You would think that a local restaurant would support local fisherman by serving our local delicious catfish. Will not be going here until they start serving local seafood.

The portions were way way too small for the priceThe French fries taste like every basic food Service wholesale French fry that you get at a restaurant (no unique ness no soul, no personality!just short cuts everywhere. The restaurant seemed like it was struggling to stay afloatThe waitress was initially attentive then she got a large table after us and basically got completely lost in the stress of it , she mentioned that a large group was coming in . She was so obsessed with the large group that she psyched herself out , and another waitress had to bring us our check . The owner was nice, and the food came out quick. The guy who brought it out , He seemed proud of the food he was presenting. But he shouldn’t have been…The catfish was really good everything else was a 6/10 the portions are a jokeWhy is there a guy bringing us our food, isn’t that the job of a waitress?talk about poor labor managementSo ultimatelyWaitress was scatterbrainedAnd basically saw her move to make more money and gave us the finger(Metaphor)A random guy who doesn’t even need to be employed there brings us our food which was minusculeAnd terrible French fries that I’ve had at every mid tier restaurant in existence

Had the Bayou Pasta and husband had a fried oyster po-boy. Oysters were good but the bread was the kind of bread a poboy should be served on. Pasta was great. Service was spectacular.
