“It was packed, but we were seated quickly. The owner greeted us and was extremely friendly. Our server took our order, and we got our drinks and appetizers very quickly. The food...omg, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. We loved the atmosphere and will definitely be back. It was sooooo good!!!”

“On this particular visit, we went to have a drink with the bartender on her birthday. As for the location itself, it is your typical small town bar that's usually occupied by the regulars and the occasional visitor stopping by for whatever reason.Like most other bars, today might be jam packed but the same day the following week can see it empty as my bank account. Same for weekends.The drinks are reasonably priced, the building seems to be well maintained, and the staff is ready to go. Definitely worth a stop and ya may even meet a new friend.”

“On the recommendation of a co-worker we went to Atchafalaya Cafe. I got the seafood trio (seafood platter). The quality and the size of the shrimp, oysters, and fish were great. There was plenty on the plate as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd have to say it's the best I've had in a year or so.The potato salad wasn't near as good. It was basically just potatoes drenched in mayonnaise. I don't recommend that.”

“We were in Morgan City looking online for a pub that was open early in the day. We came across AJ’s. There were 4 of us from Texas and did we ever find a friendly place. AND, the beer couldn’t have been any COLDER. Paula was our bartender and she made us feel at home from the moment we walked in the door. Johnny was nice enough to give up his stool at the bar and move down by Dennis & Henry so there would be 4 stools together for us. You cannot go wrong by trying this cozy, clean, neighborhood bar for a cold beer and friendly conversation.”

“Spent a few hours at a high school reunion here at the Petroleum Club. It was a pretty nice time. Lots of fried seafood, pasta, and chicken on the menu. Most of it was pretty good. The people serving were fantastic. If invited back, I wouldn't turn it down.”

“If you're ever in the Morgan City area, do not hesitate to stop at Pacos, you would be missing out on great food and service! Pick your sandwich and be sure to try the black bean soup and the fries! You won't be disappointed.”

“Our food was good. Everything was freshly made. The salsa wasn't as good as I had hoped. Our waitress didn't seem to be trained well..she never asked what we wanted to drink..or if we wanted appetizers..or even if we were ready to order. I had to basically tell her what we wanted to drink..when she dropped our drinks off, she left. She came back a few minutes later to see if we liked them and I basically had to tell her we wanted an appetizer. Someone else dropped that off at our table. About 10 minutes later she was passing by to see if we liked it and getting ready to leave again when I said oh hey we're ready to order.. Maybe she was new, but she clearly seemed lost as a server.”

“Awesome place to stop.Little joint with pool, bar and MANY, MANY daiquiri's to sample and take with you. I got the chocolate (tasted like a shake) ?, momma got the push-up (Tasted just like the push up ice cream). ?And the kids got some kid-friendly candy ones (with extra alcohol... no just kidding)-alcohol free. But the bartender was awesome. She allowed us to sample multiple different flavors and was super helpful, patience and nice. Thank you!!”

“I showed up a little late to be eating at a buffet,..you probably know what I mean.Buffet was running low on a couple of main items so I asked about it before deciding to go ahead and dine in.Glad I did.
