“On this particular visit, we went to have a drink with the bartender on her birthday. As for the location itself, it is your typical small town bar that's usually occupied by the regulars and the occasional visitor stopping by for whatever reason.Like most other bars, today might be jam packed but the same day the following week can see it empty as my bank account. Same for weekends.The drinks are reasonably priced, the building seems to be well maintained, and the staff is ready to go. Definitely worth a stop and ya may even meet a new friend.“
“Awesome place to stop.Little joint with pool, bar and MANY, MANY daiquiri's to sample and take with you. I got the chocolate (tasted like a shake) ?, momma got the push-up (Tasted just like the push up ice cream). ?And the kids got some kid-friendly candy ones (with extra alcohol... no just kidding)-alcohol free. But the bartender was awesome. She allowed us to sample multiple different flavors and was super helpful, patience and nice. Thank you!!“
“We were in Morgan City looking online for a pub that was open early in the day. We came across AJ’s. There were 4 of us from Texas and did we ever find a friendly place. AND, the beer couldn’t have been any COLDER. Paula was our bartender and she made us feel at home from the moment we walked in the door. Johnny was nice enough to give up his stool at the bar and move down by Dennis & Henry so there would be 4 stools together for us. You cannot go wrong by trying this cozy, clean, neighborhood bar for a cold beer and friendly conversation.“
