“I go here almost every evening and play pool the atmosphere is always a joy and the bartenders are lovely. This is more of a family gathering to take the edge off each day after work. I love everyone there!
I also fish here as it’s located on the Conway bayou!
I’ve even seen older kids swimming here. But don’t bring your kids in the bar of course ?“

“This is the cutest little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Their food is freaking delicious. I highly recommend the cauliflower taco, you will not be disappointed! The staff is super friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. This whole combination makes its the perfect lunch spot, date spot, business meet up, etc. The price is right on the edge of being high but once you taste the food you know it's because of the quality of the food. I only ate here once but now when I visit this is a permanent stop!“

“It's actually under a new name, Smoke Bayou. It was very busy but it was worth the wait. The service was solid, and the food was excellent. The beans were rich and flavorful, the slaw was crisp with well blanded dressing, the meat was fall off the bone, and the seasonings were deep with just a bit of bite. Outstanding. Give them a try.“

“So my experience at City Pork on Highland was amazing. The interior was clean and modern. I believe our servers name was Aisha, and I was honestly having a bad day and she made me feel so much better with her kindness and hospitality. My meal was the Pork Belly Hoagie and I would rate that an 8.5/10. I think if it had some pickled onions on it to balance the richness from the pork belly, it would be even more amazing. Although it did come with a pickle, but I didn’t really care for that, it was too sweet for my liking so I give that a 4/10. I also had a side of coleslaw, and it had this peppery taste, which I actually enjoyed, while it was still sweet (but not too sweet) and crunchy. I’ll give that a 7.5/10. My husband got the smoked chicken and he would give that a 9.5/10, because he wanted even more because it was so good.“

“The food was good, but the drinks were better!! Came on a Sunday to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We ordered bottomless mimosas and tried every flavor, lol needless to say we got a lil tipsy. The service however was not that great. I dont know maybe our waitress was going through something and brought it to work with her. But she brought the wrong orders twice and was just kinda spaced out. Anyways we still had a great time.“
