My family felt very full with the amount of food and the teast. Great service,price and taste. I live in Mississippi and EVERY time I go to Hammond La. I will always stop there and eat a great meal. “Just ate at Cena for the first time tonight for my birthday dinner. I’m so happy we gave this place a chance. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. Everything we had tonight were specials and not on the regular menu. We had a smoked pork belly appetizer that was actually being entered in a bacon competition in Gulfport tonight and definitely worthy. It had fried shrimp and melted cheese on the top. My only complaint would be the crust on the shrimp. Just a little too hard for our liking but that’s being picky. It’s the type of crust that’s so hard it falls off when you cut into the shrimp. The smoke on the pork belly though was perfect. We ate it all before I could get a pic. For our entree’s, my husband had a filet and I had gnocchi which is the very reason I wanted to eat there. It’s very hard to find gnocchi in a restaurant much less homemade. It was in a Parmesan cream sauce with grilled shrimp on top and there wasn’t a bite left on either plate.The atmosphere was very nice and I know they were booked for the evening. We were lucky to get reservations the same day but we did call as soon as they opened today. Our waitress, Abbey, was one of the best waitresses we’ve had at any restaurant ever. She was so personable and knowledgeable about the menu. There were about 6-8 specials to tell us about between appetizers and main course and she had it all memorized perfectly. I would’ve stumbled through notes if it were me. We will definitely be back and will definitely request her again as well.“
“All was well. Just loud tables next to us was a big group. Our table was so close to the next, barely room to back up. Would have been fine but the leader of that “party” continued to stand with his a$$ back up against me. Not much room to enjoy an evening out. Next time we will request a booth.“

“My fiancee, nephew and I went here last weekend. Their service was awesome and the food was delicious! Word of warning, unless you have a LARGE Larry don't order the large queso and guacamole it came in cereal bowls...very generous portions. I honestly can't remember what anyone else ordered but I got the carne asada and it was so good. So far the best in Ponchatoula. If you have not been there yet, you need to go!“

“We get dark Russians by the gallon . Sometimes they need to mix a new batch. The staff is very accommodating. Our usual order is rather specific and we joke with them about that--they normally get it right after a couple of visits. The daiquiris are delicious; the store and bathrooms are clean. Can't ask for more than that!“
