“Fantastic Turnaround – Excellent Catered Dinner After an off experience on Valentine’s Day… I don’t usually write follow-up reviews, but after an off experience (missing items, quality issues, etc.) on Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share how impressed we were with the follow-up. Kerry Kelley reached out, listened to our feedback, and kindly catered our dinner last night. Everything was spot-on and absolutely delicious—the food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Highlights included perfectly prepared steak and seafood dishes that reminded us why we’ve loved Mike Anderson’s for years. The portions were generous, everything arrived hot and well-packaged, and the overall experience turned our view around completely. It’s clear they take customer satisfaction seriously and go the extra mile to make things right. Thank you to both the Gonzales Prairieville teams for the great recovery—we’re excited to order again and will definitely be back for dine-in soon. “The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

The Oysters were BURNT...all small FOUR of them...so crunchy a guest said the could have broken their teeth?!? I ordered the Shrimp PoBoy and only got a HALF! They said they would refund me, well DoorDash did...not sure why they did and not Jasmines. , waiting on an answer from them BURNT FOOD IS UNACCEPTABLE...there was no way they didn't know...really!!?? Especially if it can harm someone? What else was there was good, but it was disappointing it wasn't right, again! Oh, a good thing, the Shrimp and Corn soup had shrimp in it this time, just too creamy for my taste. Not used to cream in it. Another bad thing is Jasmines doesn't have an email to respond before posting a review. Enjoy the pics.“

“I ordered 4 dz boiled crabs and 8 lbs of boiled shrimp for out of town visiting family members. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The #2 crabs were all full the shrimp were very very large. It was so yummy. This place has greatly improved. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much!“

“A Celiac-Friendly Gem in Baton Rouge.
On a one-way road trip June 13, my son and I stopped at Eliza Restaurant & Bar. We were staying the night in Baton Rouge and AI had called out Eliza as one of the better local cuisine restaurants with GF options. Walking in without a reservation, the hostess kindly found us a table—an unexpected courtesy that made us feel both lucky and welcome (making a reservation is highly recommended, I saw 3 others walk-ins turned away).

The real highlight was how incredibly celiac-friendly this place is. I enjoyed some of the best hush puppies I’ve had—fried perfectly in a dedicated gluten-free fryer. I had the Corn Fried Local Seafood (Gulf Shrimp, catfish, crawfish hush puppies and string fries) The food was flavorful and authentic, and without feeling oily at all. Our server, Morgan, was fantastic in walking us through all the safe options for celiacs. If I were a local, I’d be a regular here. Highly Recommend. Only regret is I live in WA state and won’t likely be back anytime soon. Great place!“

The Ceaser salad with bites of bacon was a surprise hit as for salads go. The Andouille and shrimp linguine was recommended and it did not disappoint! A must try if you stop by! The atmosphere was a 4 because of all the TVs not making a good setting for conversation but a great spot to catch LSU games.“

“Being from Florida this was my first time experiencing the restaurant. It was recommended by friends and I must say it was a great experience. My family and I had a variety of dishes. I had the boudin egg roll which were delicious along with the Shrimp jambalaya.My wife had the chicken club and red beans and rice which are outstanding. My mother had the catfish and shrimp plate which is huge portions. The adult drinks are great with a huge selection. If I get the opportunity to visit I will definitely make a stop back. Love the atmosphere during football season although I’m not a Saints fan lol. But highly recommend giving this place a try.“
