“Best tacos in PVILLE!! These tacos may not be the greatest for you, nor the cleanest eating experience, but DAMN they are good!! The tacos are authentic, delicious, and well priced. And their green salsa is incredibly spicy but that stuff is a gift from the gods. I've eaten from this truck consistently every 2 or so weeks for about the past year, and I have no plans to stop.“

“This was a good stop for lunch. Service was slow but it was extra busy. The food was good and came out very fast. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. I had the cajun chicken and the husband had the catfish la lousiana and green beans. His was delicious my on the other hand had some kind of pickled onions on it when it came out not grilled onions and mushrooms. The potatoes were undercooked and this platter was not as described on the menu. I'd prefer to had something different but the server never came back to check on us and my sweet tea sit empty after appetizers. Did not get the $71 dollar lunch as expected with that price. When brought to the attention of the server she didn't really seem to care as we were checking out because she never came back to check on us after food was served.“

“For a bar and grill this place was pretty chill. The dining area was about half full with only a handful of patrons at the bar, we were told we arrived during the "calm before the storm". We opened the doors unsure if we should sit anywhere or wait to be seated but before we had a chance to pull out chairs for ourselves a young lady asked us how many in our party as she guided us to a nice little corner table big enough for me and my three kids. She had menus in hand and seemed to have our drinks back to us before I could open the cover. I wanted to try a variety and our server recommended the Half Shell Seafood platter. I decided to mix it up a little and opted for blackened catfish and shrimp, grilled oysters, and of course a deep fried crab cake and a deep fried stuffed shrimp. This platter also came with a side salad and a bowl of seafood gumbo. All of it was too shelf and tasted like it was made to order. For an appetizer I went with the crispy artichoke hearts and let me tell ya, that was the right choice! The artichokes came out first and I had never had any other than in a spinach dip, now I couldn't imagine having them any other way. The perfect combination of tart and robust with a crispy, crunchy coating, these little vegetable orgasms were sprinkled with fresh shredded Parmesan and paired perfectly with the house marinara sauce. The order was big enough for both me and my two kids, but I devoured the plate before they had a chance to eat more than just a few. Even the blooming onion takes a backseat to my new favorite app. When the Half Shell Platter arrived I was anxious to see what kind of shock my tastebuds were about to experience and I was surprised in the best way. The catfish was cooked to perfection with a blackened flavor you can't match at home. The shrimp too, perfectly cooked and seasoned with no trace of a rubbery bite or overpowering flavor. First time having oysters grilled and I've got to say raw will always reign supreme, but these were a close second. The rest of the plate was what you'd expect, predictable and delicious. Not the kind of hole in the wall establishment I was looking for, but exactly the kind of authenticity. The server kept the drinks full and the table clear. We had a next to nothing wait time and the food was a 10/10. Well deserving of a five star rating, if I'm ever back in Baton Rouge I'll be stopping in again.“

“So service can be a 10/10 one day and a 2/10 another *this applies to pick ups to*.Busy or lull doesn't seem to change that aspect. That out of the way, it's AMAZING food, HUGE portions, even if you get it delivered, or go there. To good to pass up. Thank you for being here.“

“My family enjoyed dinner on the outside patio. Kiddos were able to run around and play in the gravel a bit until food came. Our server ( think her name is Destiny) was attentive and kind! My husband and I made mention that the tables outdoors were EXTREMELY wobbly and could easily pose a safety threat, especially to little ones! She understood our concern and said she would relay message to management. I hope management can get the message to the owner and assert the importance of this matter being fixed before someone gets hurt.“

“Food was good but service was a joke. They would be better off having counter service because I watched severs play on the phones , sitting down eating and ignoring their tables including mine. I know serving is a tough job but these kids weren’t even trying. I always tip 18-25% and if they really do well I’ll tip 30-35% but this was bad service and there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants around. The food and Busser were great but the service was so bad by the server it’ll be a long time until I go back and it doesn’t seem like management or the owners care and that’s disappointing“

“I prefer going here for lunch. The people that run it then seem to have better people skills. My father and I went there around 630pm no one was in line at all. We sat at the counter for about 10 minutes before someone called in an order and then someone walked in after the phone call for a to go order. After she helped him and took the phone order she decided to take our order.The people at lunch focus on the customers at the register and in the dining room first in a first come first serve kind of thing.Either way the food was pretty good. French fries and onion rings were to die for, especially with malt vinegar on the fries! I got the 12 inch pepper steak with no green peppers (just jalapeños) with pepper jack cheese. Brought home half the sandwich and half the small order of fries. The sweet tea was awesome!Highly recommend this place! “I travel a lot and eat at a lot of places and this one has by far, the best Fajitas I've had in a really long time!!! The steak was perfect, the shrimp was just right, and the chicken had good seasoning on it. I highly recommend eating here and I'm going to when I get the chance again!“
