“Fantastic Turnaround – Excellent Catered Dinner After an off experience on Valentine’s Day… I don’t usually write follow-up reviews, but after an off experience (missing items, quality issues, etc.) on Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share how impressed we were with the follow-up. Kerry Kelley reached out, listened to our feedback, and kindly catered our dinner last night. Everything was spot-on and absolutely delicious—the food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Highlights included perfectly prepared steak and seafood dishes that reminded us why we’ve loved Mike Anderson’s for years. The portions were generous, everything arrived hot and well-packaged, and the overall experience turned our view around completely. It’s clear they take customer satisfaction seriously and go the extra mile to make things right. Thank you to both the Gonzales Prairieville teams for the great recovery—we’re excited to order again and will definitely be back for dine-in soon. Highly recommend giving them another chance if you’ve had an off experience in the past!“

“I ordered 4 dz boiled crabs and 8 lbs of boiled shrimp for out of town visiting family members. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The #2 crabs were all full the shrimp were very very large. It was so yummy. This place has greatly improved. I will definitely be back. Thanks so much!“

“Oh So Good! We spent the night in Donaldsonville on the way to a cruise in New Orleans. A good review led us to Tam's. We are so glad. We were skeptical when we drove up; no cars in the parking lot. But they were working on a stack of take-out orders. The inside is not very fancy, so most were getting orders to go as we did. The food was great! They have several Chinese entrees. But we got shrimp and catfish; comes with a bed of fried rice or fries. We also ordered small red beans and rice, and a small seafood gumbo. The small was about 16 ounces! Each of those was a meal itself. All the food was delicious and in very generous portions. A little ways (about 12 miles) off the interstate, but well worth the trip.“

“One of the best tours we had. The Houmas House is not only charming but it has a welcoming atmosphere. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, personable and passionate about the entire history of the plantation manor. I would return to do the house tour again and allow more time to visit the museum as well.“

“Sammy's Grill has become one of our favorite local restaurants. Whether we're dining in or ordering takeout, the food is consistently good and the service is always friendly.
Their burgers are delicious, the beans are one of my favorite sides, and the kids' meals are generously portioned, making it a great option for families. We also appreciate that our takeout orders have always been accurate and ready on time.
My parents love stopping here whenever they come to visit us, and it's become one of our go-to places to grab a meal together. It's always a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere with good food and friendly people.
If you're looking for a reliable local restaurant with consistently good food and great service, Sammy's Grill is definitely worth a visit. We'll continue coming back!“

“If someone leaves a bad review here it’s definitely their fault, this place is absolutely amazing, we eat here pretty consistently, never had a bad experience, never had bad food, never gotten my order messed up, the workers are so kind, I have watched them stick up for other customers, truly my favorite and the only place I will ever buy Chinese food from!
