“Duckroost is locally owned and gives off a wonderful small town vibe. We get our live and sometimes boiled crawfish there and it is always a wonderful experience. I enjoy their pork cracklings and recently tried their chicken cracklings and they are addictive! The owners are friendly and the staff are helpful and kind. We will continue to buy seafood from Duckroost!“

“We had a party of 16 and everyone was very pleased. Food and service were great. We were celebrating 6 birthdays and the staff made our night exceptional. We eat out a few times a month at different restaurants and the servers in Prairieville were the best I had in years. They even played a long with a joke that someone with us played on our group. Food and service were top notched, we highly recommend!“

“We have our favorites which are the fried crab fingers and the fried shrimp (good size and perfect seasoning ) Occasionally we get the warm brownie and ice cream. Service is always great and food is delicious. The entertainment (guitarist/vocalist) has been exceptional !“

My team and I had an amazing time, and I want to give special recognition to our waitress, Molly, for her outstanding service. A big thank you to Thomas and Desiree, who I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for many years, for taking such great care of us and providing the delicious appetizers—they were a perfect touch to the evening. You truly made my company feel welcomed and special, and we deeply appreciate everything you do for the community. The food was phenomenal, and the entire evening was a memorable experience. “5 star service from Lundon. 5 star food. The timing was perfect as we finished appetizers to receive order. Lundon knows her stuff. All the girls did a happy birthday routine for my wife and it was amazing. Thanks for making a great memory for two old people and two young ones!!!“

“we went for lunch. was offered a lunch menu and it didn't have the soft shell crab offered for lunch. but the management let the waiter take our order anyway. and let me tell you the soft shell crab was awesome. i will definitely be back. and the service was great... we tipped over 20 percent for their service. love that place.“

“No it doesn’t look like a bar at all. We actually had to walk around thirsty like two turtles for water.Once inside it was a mixture of old world and modern age coming together in that classy elegant style. Lots of antiques and the bar actually entends into a sitting area with chess boards and a dining area.The bartender was awesome with a good quip and answered all our questions in reference to what they served. With plenty of seating outside we were able to just sip and enjoy the view. Definitely a great place for some local style drinks mixed and poured quickly.“

“First thing for the food is very good and the service is in a good time frame, they are very nice to everyone, the environment is good, since it if like an outside restaurant, you get fresh air while eating your delicious homemade food, i am Hispanic so i can communicate good with them, their language spoken is Spanish, just for the heads up .I rate 5/5 ??“
“The crawfish and shrimp ? were boiled perfectly! The crawfish and shrimp were clean and so tasty, and the crawfish were fat and so perfectly seasoned just the right amount of everything ? The service was especially good and nice, everyone at this business cares about quality food at affordable prices and great service!
