“If you are looking for great Italian food, look no further. Joe’s Italian restaurant’s food entrees are fabulous. I recently moved to Louisiana from the northern Midwest. I tried Joe’s for the first time and was highly impressed. From the house salad to the warm dinner rolls, to the chicken piccata, chicken Alfredo, and the chicken Parmesan. All were delicious. “This is the second time I have been to here. Everytime I come I get the turkey necks...some of the best turkey necks I have EVER eaten!! They are savory and spicy!! Absolutely delicious. They also serve crawfish, shrimp, fried chicken, sausages etc. It is also a convenience store and gas station. They sell a food goods..and lots of different beverages! The owners are always very kind and helpful. I definitely will be back anytime I'm in town! I also recommend the lomein and the egg rolls!Parking: The parking lot is not large! “I'll start by saying I don't frivolously throw around 5 star reviews. I just use Yelp and take the advice of friends. Our friends are hosting a big event this October at Don's and we decided to check it out early since we were in town. So thankful we did! This place does seafood right! For appetizers hubby had the gator tail half fried and half grilled. We also shared the spinach dip with crabmeat. It came with tortilla chips but our waitress recommended we try it with their bread and it was delicious. Hubby loved the gator both fried and grilled equally. For our entrees we both had the fried catfish and red beans & rice! Everything was seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of kick.. no additional seasoning required.. near the end of the meal we took bread pudding to go and enjoyed it over the next few days. The portion sizes were abundant and we ate so much we almost had to be rolled out of there! Looking forward to our next visit! Our waitress was bubbly and accommodating! She checked on us frequently and made great recommendations! You'll love the interior booths surrounding the bar where we could see oysters set afire on the grill. It gave the place such a pleasant aroma! We live in Florida but we're making plans to stop by before the event in October! This place will be a mainstay in my Yelp collections and it should be in yours too!“

"This a diner, or is someone playing a bad joke on us yankee's?"Then you muster up your courage cuz your hungry, and you go inside. The place is sparse with some fish mounts on the wall, and a wonderful waitress behind the bar with her poor ear just glued to a phone taking orders, but she still musters the energy to properly and enthusiastically greet you and explain how their system works. Your menus are on the bar, and you order your meal and then you go behind you and sit down. They ring the bell and call your name in a few minutes when your order is up. And I hope you brough your appetitite! The food is AMAZING, the service is polite and quick, and the atmosphere is sort of crab shack meets truck stop chic..In short.. if you miss this place, your are absolutely missing one of the finest little diners around!“
“Our server was awesome. We came in an hour before close; however the service broke our scale. If I could have rated higher than a 5, I would have. The owner makes really good homemade bread (it was so soft and warm), the pizza was definitely out of this world, because it was better than the pizza places I've tried in the states. Me and my sister also ordered a stuffed pasta with shrimp and chicken. It was so delicious and very creamy. We will be back!! This is one of our new favorite Italian spots. At first glance upon walking up, it doesn't look like it would be good. The outside decor is pretty decrepit looking.The tables were dirty, But as I was eating, they all got cleaned.It seems a little overpriced, but I have a feeling it's because they don't seem like they get a lot of business.I ordered the shrimp Philly po boy and the sliced jalapeños. Great texture of French bread. The shrimp was flavored well I do feel they need at least 1 or 2 more ingredients for the sandwich, however. It was only shrimp, cheese and onions.For the atmosphere, I rated what I did because of the outdated décor and I need an environment that is happy to be in. There's not even some quiet background music. I was literally the only one inside with 2 other people that were outside and left 3 minutes after I got here.This was Sunday at 4 PM. I wanted to read 5 stars so bad, But I had to struggle with the atmosphere and the pricing of the food. “This place was good like all my food was acceptable but my problem with it was the gumbo.It tasted smoked but not in a good way.it was like if it was left at the bottom of the pot , the Service was eh the server took forever to serve us and take our order. other then those than those things the feel of the place was comfy and nice I liked the vibe .“

Absolutely the best I had ever tasted in any country. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Casual dress, but it looks like it should be semi-formal. “Only place around that has 93 octane NON-ETHANOL fuel...I've confirmed this to be 100% pure gas as per my ethanol sensor readings always show 0% when filling here, this makes it ideal for filling up your classic vehicles, motorcycles, getting mower gas, and boats. Recently it appears the owners have sold to someone else, I'll have to recheck my readings to make sure it's still ethanol free. I harp on this hard because one station sold me "NON-ETHANOL" that wasn't non, and it destroyed 4 fuel systems on some of my vehicles.“
“Had a fine meal here. Was driving through the area and needed some food. They do only take cash but have an atm (requires a pin.) I got the shrimp poboy and husband got the swamp fries. The poboy had good soft bread and a lot of well-crusted-but -not -so-much-you-can't-taste-the-shrimp shrimp. The swamp fries are swampy with a rich soupy gravy. Service was friendly and there are a few small front porch outdoor tables if you're still a person who eats outside. Recommend“
