“We hosted my daughter’s Sweet 16 at JRucker’s this past weekend. Everyone had a great time! Ms. Olivia handled all the decorations creating a beautiful space. She gave me everything I could have imagined and more. It really was a beautiful party! The staff was professional, paid attention to details, friendly, and fun. Everyone is still talking about how good the food was, especially the shrimp pasta. This is the perfect place to host an event big or small. I highly recommend you check them out. Our night was pure perfection! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Went here to kill time while vehicle was serviced at a local dealership. Turned out to be a great decision. Had the western omelet with hash browns. Delicious. And if you are a light eater, one person can share this monster omelet. No joke. Wonderfully friendly staff makes it even better.“

“Our first trip there. The food was delicious. I had fried catfish with fried rice. It was cooked perfectly. My sister had fried shrimp with sweet potato fries. Again cooked to perfection. Whitney was our server. She was so attentive. We wanted oysters, but they were out until later today. The have fresh shucked oyster's. We definitely will get them next trip. The owner Miss Sara came an talked to us about our experience. They all made us feel like we were important to them. Some places make you feel like a bother. Not here. The price for the amount of food was incredible too. Can't wait till next time. Thank y'all so much.“

“Hannah H. was our waitress, (by herself).… SHE WAS THE BEST!!! We had a group of 25 and she got all of our orders correct, even with all the substitutions etc. All of our food came out at the same time without delay on even one meal. She was the sweetest and handled all of our crazy with a smile!! If you go, you must ask for her!! She made our experience awesome! Food was amazing!“

“I know, all five-stars....I don't always do that for eating places. But, this one deserves it. Great food and worth the price, better service at the table than many regular restaurants, but still probably can be called fast-food, because it is fast. Nice selection from salads to deserts. Best FRESH fish around, same for the shrimp. Can't say enough good about this place.“

“PICKY EATER ALERT! so we ordered the shrimp/snow crab bag( came with corn, potato, sausage, boiled egg) and ordered it with sauces mixed. (Cajun, garlic butter,lemon pepper) OMG SOOOOOOOO GOOD. well seasoned, hot and prepared exactly the way I ordered. Hubby got the shrimp/fish basket, came with fries. crispy fries seasoned. fish and shrimp flavorful, hot and a good quantity. Clean restaurant ✔ friendly employees ✔ great food ✔ = returning customers!“

“We really enjoy eating here. Casual atmosphere, the dining area is really nice. Service was impeccable! The food was excellent. My significant other had the cowboy steak, and I had their southwest egg rolls. They cooked his to perfection he says, it was medium, medium just as he requested. Mine were so good, I can’t wait to go back! There is a bar area that you can also eat in. Nicely decorated in the dining area.“

“The only thing this place needs to work on is everyone’s meal coming out together. The food was delicious. Service was great. Atmosphere second to none. Definitely a do over. You better be ready for leftovers. So much to choose from. They have plenty of space. Most reviews are about the wait. Perhaps a patio addition would be nice for more seating. It’s not extra innings anymore.“

“We are forever customers! Not only is the food amazing and the staff top notch, East of Italy goes out of their way to accommodate guest. We wanted to book a party and they went above and beyond to make it happen. Our son’s celebration was everything and more. We haven’t had a meal we didn’t like. The food is always fresh and ANY type of bread from here is heaven sent! I“

“This place is currently called Railway Cafe, and it's got a very cozy, rather nostalgic vibe to it. The servers are very polite, and the food is worth the price. I ordered the fish po'boy, and it was quite possibly the best po'boy I ever had!“

“I haven't been there in a while. The last time I went and got a shrimp basket they were very salty and fried so much that I broke my plastic trying to stab it to pick it up. I've been going there for years and I'm not sure if they have a new owner or staff but the price has gone up and quality down so we've passed on it lately. I used to love their shrimp baskets too.“
