“AMAZING!!! The food is hot, fresh, delicious, and portion sizes are RIDICULOUS!!! I ordered an 8" shrimp poboy, and couldn't see the bread under all the shrimp. Could only eat 1/2 the bun and less than half of the shrimp. The onion rings are thin and crispy, not greasy at all. Had to get a go box. Prices were very good. Will definitely be back!“
“This place has been in existance for as long as I can remember. Even though I believe it has gone through a change in ownership over the decades, it still maintains the same friendly family owned atmosphere I remember. Great burgers, homemade shoestring onion rings that are amazing, and prices that are close to fast food chains with quality that far exceeds them. Even though I checked the $10-$20 per person price range, it falls into the $11 to $12 category for food, side, and a drink.“
“We visited the Amite Oyster Festival on St. Patty’s Day weekend and it was lit. ? Lots of people, food, fun and good music. ? I ha a delicious frozen drink called Crazy Horse from Boston Market and the sushi and Seared Tuna salad looked amazing. We had my dad’s 80th birthday celebration here as well in the private space. It was very nice and accommodating“
“It takes a lot for me to give something 5 star's. It means that I couldn't find a flaw with that service. Their bread is always consequential. They never ever do any of the condiments. I see food is always cried great. Have nothing negative to say about their food the service is fine nothing spectacular but fine and the atmosphere could be better but it's not bad it's definitely comfortable“
“The drinks are served in big ole red cup with the good small pebble ice. Their unsweetened tea was a bit weak, but I won't hold it against them. The salad bar is great. The actual salad consist of just chopped iceberg lettuce, but they also have potato salad, macaroni salad, corn salad, hard boiled eggs, brunoi diced ham, and pickled okra. Their ketchup is served in the classic Heinz 57 glass bottles, and the hot sauce is Cajun Chef.Their crackers are the best Lance Captain Wafers Crackers that pair so well with southern food or simply butter and hot sauce.Catfish po'boy 9.1/10Gumbo 6.4/10Catfish 8.6/10This catfish is up there with Midendorf's and Country Catfish“
