“Food and service is always great. Atmosphere depends on if the owner is in or not. If she’s there, horrible! She walks around looking for employees whom she deemed to be out of line and chastises them in front of the patrons. She never addresses the money paying patrons at all. Just walks around with a big frown. Once she left all the employees stopped walking on eggshells and things lightened up and this was 1-18-26 at approximately 3:00 pm.“

“The Anchor thoroughly impressed us. We were celebrating our daughters birthday and what a perfect choice she made. All of us were in agreeance that this was the best pizza in all of St. Tammany. My wife and I split a pizza with meatball, red onion, mushroom. I can't wait to return. The flavor was like a party in my mouth. In fact not just pizza, but the appetizer, focaccia with this most incredible green onion & garlic compote type sauce that you just couldn't get enough of. We also had the jalapeno poppers pizza, which was also delicious.The daiquiris were on point and get ya buzzing with the first one. The service was on point. The scenery is beautiful. Kids are able to play right outside the patio area. This is a win win for everyone, just a wonderful time waiting for you to arrive. We loved everything.“

“We have dined at Don's in Covington multiple times. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the servers are exceptional. During our recent visit, we were served by Emily. She was very professional, intelligent, and focused. She was patient and pleasant to converse with. We were impressed with her knowledge of the restaurant and the menu. Appetizers came out quickly, (which the fried pickles were perfect), and the entrees came out quickly after that and were also incredible. Customer service was phenomenal all around. From the beginning to the end, staff were attentive and engaging. Greg even showed us the wall of hot sauce that is available for customer use. After our meals we opted to purchase some of their sweet goodies that were near the register, which turns out are crafted by someone who works there and were out of this world! Overall, the experience was one of the absolute best we have had at a restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.“

“Delicious food and huge portions. We had the special chicken cracklin with spicy ranch for an appetizer and Chicken Piccata and Veal Parmesan. The Piccata was amazing and the meals came in a huge portion. The side ceasar salad was also the best we've had.“

“Planned a big family gathering for Easter was very disappointed in there customer service. Called prior to picking up crawfish to make sure all my ducks were in a row for our big day. I asked what time they would be open and if they were selling boiled. I was told with an attitude they would be boiling, they open at 8am and it's first come first serve no reservations. I show up at 8am to be sure I get them and I asked for 90lbs of boiled only get told they aren't selling boiled till 10am. I sit there til 10am waiting finally get back to the window.... third time now speaking with someone now and then get told that I would be limited to 50lbs. After all that no one bothered to mention a 50lb limit after mentioned multiple times I needed 90lbs. I asked if I could have family pick up the other 40lbs and was told no it's not fair. Im fine that people make limits to please all there customers but you could at least advertise that there's a limit and what time boiled would be served. A family member of mine did reserve so that only applies to some people by the way. Ive been going there faithfully for the last 3 years and boil at least twice a month during season so for this to happen the way it did is very disappointing. I felt like I was treated poorly afterwards. My family member stopped in to buy the additional 40 lbs and was asked if she was related to me before buying. So be sure ask and check with all your family and friends before going there because if anyone ether you know has already bought boiled crawfish there that day you may be limited to how much your allowed to buy. Thats completely ridiculous! First come first serve only applies to some! Needless to say I now go elsewhere. In fact today I bought 90lbs from a new place with no problem. 😘 They are simply a drive thru for only a pound or two nothing more. Sad after all these years.“

“Pat’s Seafood provided the food for my daughter’s baby shower/crawfish boil out at the Bogue Falaya Wayside Park Pavilion in Covington! The food was amazing and their service was amazing! Lisa, the owner, and her two sons came. They brought EVERYTHING! The nicest people I could ever hope to work with. They also helped clean up and pick up tables and chairs. Honestly I can’t say enough good things. Everyone raved about the crawfish, mini muffulettas, jambalaya, berry salad, and the CHEESECAKE from Mauthe’s Farm. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it was! And the portions….wow. They didn’t just feed us, they abundantly fed us. No one left hungry, and we had plenty to enjoy afterward. “This is a quaint restaurant on the lakefront in Mandeville. I had the Killer Quesadilla with shrimp. It was great. The sweet potato fries were very good. These were waffle fries which added to the crispness of fries. The queso was a little think but was good. Service was good also.“
