“24 yrs ago I started coming here. Every Friday. Some reason we just stopped. I’ve gone 5 weekends in a row. From Tabitha behind the bar whipping out Long Island ice teas 😉. To Jennifer , Misty and all the other great servers we’ve had since then. It’s been phenomenal. The 1/2 priced dungeness crabs are awesome. It’s been a blast from the past and I’m glad I gave it another chance. See yall next weekend!“

“Birthday dinner this year at Tchefuncte’s with my parents, and once again it was a great experience all around! Special seating in the private room overlooking the water, the special birthday greeting card on the table, our food, Filet & Heirloom Carrots, the Redfish and Chicken entreees, and my mini cookie sandwich where I could blow out my wish! “We enjoyed a beautiful view of the Tchfuncte River. Our lunch was served quickly with minimal wait. We ordered the bacon ham burger and the blackened fish sandwich with coleslaw. Both were exceptional. We found the parking to be a little confusing between the 2 different restuarants located here. We parked in the handicapped area designated for the Tchefuncte/Anchor Restuarants, but would have been closer parking in the shell lot along the waterfront. We also followed signs for the handicapped accessible ramp which then looped around to the front of The Anchor. This extra walking was difficult for my handicapped father who was using a walker. Service and food were wonderful. A little loud for the atmosphere.“

“We have dined at Don's in Covington multiple times. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the servers are exceptional. During our recent visit, we were served by Emily. She was very professional, intelligent, and focused. She was patient and pleasant to converse with. We were impressed with her knowledge of the restaurant and the menu. We truly enjoyed our dinner, and Emily provided excellent service.“

“Visited today for the first time. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Greg at the front door offering High 5's, and were promptly walked through the process of how to order and what to expect. Appetizers came out quickly, (which the fried pickles were perfect), and the entrees came out quickly after that and were also incredible. Customer service was phenomenal all around. From the beginning to the end, staff were attentive and engaging. Greg even showed us the wall of hot sauce that is available for customer use. After our meals we opted to purchase some of their sweet goodies that were near the register, which turns out are crafted by someone who works there and were out of this world! Overall, the experience was one of the absolute best we have had at a restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.“

“Lago’s food is always fresh and authentic. Try the street steak quesadillas, they are addictive! The molcajete is a must to experience. It arrived in a huge cauldron of roasted meats and veggies with cactus! Absolutely delicious. The service is always great!“

Dustin was incredibly easy to work with responsive, flexible, and kind throughout the planning process. The food was out of this world. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how good it was! And the portions….wow. They didn’t just feed us, they abundantly fed us. No one left hungry, and we had plenty to enjoy afterward. “Planned a big family gathering for Easter was very disappointed in there customer service. Called prior to picking up crawfish to make sure all my ducks were in a row for our big day. I asked what time they would be open and if they were selling boiled. I was told with an attitude they would be boiling, they open at 8am and it's first come first serve no reservations. I show up at 8am to be sure I get them and I asked for 90lbs of boiled only get told they aren't selling boiled till 10am. I sit there til 10am waiting finally get back to the window.... third time now speaking with someone now and then get told that I would be limited to 50lbs. After all that no one bothered to mention a 50lb limit after mentioned multiple times I needed 90lbs. I asked if I could have family pick up the other 40lbs and was told no it's not fair. Im fine that people make limits to please all there customers but you could at least advertise that there's a limit and what time boiled would be served. A family member of mine did reserve so that only applies to some people by the way. Ive been going there faithfully for the last 3 years and boil at least twice a month during season so for this to happen the way it did is very disappointing. I felt like I was treated poorly afterwards. My family member stopped in to buy the additional 40 lbs and was asked if she was related to me before buying. So be sure ask and check with all your family and friends before going there because if anyone ether you know has already bought boiled crawfish there that day you may be limited to how much your allowed to buy. Thats completely ridiculous! First come first serve only applies to some! Needless to say I now go elsewhere. In fact today I bought 90lbs from a new place with no problem. 😘 They are simply a drive thru for only a pound or two nothing more. Sad after all these years.“

“Server was Amie, very sweet lady and stayed on top of things as she had several tables she was attending. She had a smile on her face every time she came to our table. The only complaint was the music it was very high volume today. The food as always was enjoyable.“

“This is one of my 91 year old father's favorite places. He no longer wants to dine out so we got take on a recent visit. His favorite is the soft shell crab and turtle soup. The filet I had was perfect even though it was a to-go order. Same great quality as in the restaurant.“

“We celebrated my mom's 78th birthday at Buster's last night. We made a reservation for a party of 12 and when we arrived our table was set and ready to go. I actually had to add one more person the night before and y'all got back to me right away and let me know that it wasn't a problem.

Sha was our waitress and she was phenomenal! She was so friendly and good natured and we are glad she was the server taking care of us. Couples in our party arrived randomly over about 15 minutes and she was always right there ready to get drinks out.

The food was fantastic and came out quickly.
The team was so nice taking care of the cake we brought in.
Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

“This place is amazing. It has great flavor, a great selection at the bar, and great service. Everything on the menu is decently priced and gives a plentiful amount. We are still faily new to the Northshore, but have been here about five times already. The Texas Whirlwind is out favorite Margaritas. I have not tried something on this menu that I have not liked, and I am still trying new things. My wife and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone all day.“

“The sushi is fresh daily! I’ve seen their trucks delivering fresh fish all the time. The tonkatsu ramen is amazing and their poke rainbow bowl is delicious, filling, light and a great value. Their lunch boxes are the best deal in town. Can’t beat the food you get for the price. You get a salad, a soup, and an entree with veggies noodles rice and protein with gyoza for about 12-15$.“

“This is a quaint restaurant on the lakefront in Mandeville. I had the Killer Quesadilla with shrimp. It was great. The sweet potato fries were very good. These were waffle fries which added to the crispness of fries. The queso was a little think but was good. Service was good also.“

“General tile chicken, lo mein chicken broccoli dumplings. This is what we ordered all excellent the lo mein is not spaghetti noodles like you see at other restaurants wonderful sauce for the generals chicken as well as the chicken and broccoli highly recommended.“
