“The workers were outside of Micheal’s today offering plates to promote their restaurant. Honestly, this was the BEST shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had, and I eat SFR a lot!! “I just returned from my first trip to Louisiana in my life and having an authentic poboy was at the top of my list. They say you never forget your first and big I never will. This is easily in the top 5 of sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life.

Literally everything was perfect from the bread, the shrimp, mayo, everything. I live in Las Vegas and we can’t get food like this here. This was OUTSTANDING and the owners were awesome to chat with too.“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

“The seafood boil style dishes were great. I think they are reasonably priced. We had the crawfish, crab, and shrimp as well as the obligatory cob corn and potatoes. The food was a little spicy for the little ones, but I thought it had great spice. I really enjoyed the Sammy sauce, a wonderful spicy garlic butter sauce. It went with everything IMO. There was no fried food available when we ordered which was a little disappointing. I thought the atmosphere was a bit rustic, but traditional for Louisiana I believe. I would come back“

We ordered the fried fish, fried shrimp, shrimp poboys', fried rice, and pecan candy. Everything was fresh, hot, and cooked just right, and the portions were generous. The only suggestion I'd make is that the food could use a little more seasoning to really make the flavors stand out. The wait wasn't long, and the staff kept things moving efficiently. It's always nice to visit a place that has stayed consistent over the years. Overall, we had a good experience and will definitely be back.“

The crawfish etouffee is the best in the parish. We ordered the jacked up crawfish dip with the fried pita chips that come out hot and fresh with crawfish in every bite! Creamy with a hint of spice that’s so satisfying. Try that with the fried eggplant and you will love it. For dessert the richest and best bread pudding with an amazing tasty rum sauce. Take it home with you, heat it up for about 10 seconds and you have that midnight southern snack that brings you back to your childhood.
