“The food was very flavorful! Even the healthy items! We ordered the grilled fish with shrimp & veggies, and the fried snapper with fried shrimp and it was all SO tasty! Not heavy on the grease at all! The batter was light and crispy and not too salty (like other popular fast food seafood chains). Highly recommend! The hamburger with the grilled shrimp on it looked FIRE too! Will try that next time I’m in LA!“

“The seafood boil style dishes were great. I think they are reasonably priced. We had the crawfish, crab, and shrimp as well as the obligatory cob corn and potatoes. The food was a little spicy for the little ones, but I thought it had great spice. I really enjoyed the Sammy sauce, a wonderful spicy garlic butter sauce. It went with everything IMO. There was no fried food available when we ordered which was a little disappointing. I thought the atmosphere was a bit rustic, but traditional for Louisiana I believe. I would come back“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. “The workers were outside of Micheal’s today offering plates to promote their restaurant. Honestly, this was the BEST shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had, and I eat SFR a lot!! The chicken was crispy, juicy and flavorful as well! I’ll definitely be driving over to Fl Blvd to pay them a visit. Super nice people as well which is a huge one for me 😊“

“The crabcakes were delicious. The pimento cheese balls were also delicious. The staff was super friendly and nice. I had trouble with the seafood platter but everything was fixed to my satisfaction. Id probably eat here again just for the pimento cheese balls but i think next time it will be the pork belly.“

“I used to go to the location on Airline in Prarieville way back when it was open, so I was looking forward to trying Rocco's again. My po-boy was very good, the atmosphere was great, and the staff at the counter were all very pleasant.

However, what made me take a star off was the wait. For one whole fried shrimp po-boy, I waited 50 minutes, which is just a bit too long of a ticket time for me to stomach. The place was busy, but it looked like there was max 25 guests waiting on food. Not sure if that type of wait is the norm here, but my recommendation is to play it safe and call your order in ahead.“

Their catfish is breaded with a great seasoned flavor, crispy thick pieces and some thin ones too. The Catfish Atchafalaya is one of the best entrees when you are craving a savory seafood dish. The crawfish etouffee is the best in the parish. We ordered the jacked up crawfish dip with the fried pita chips that come out hot and fresh with crawfish in every bite! Creamy with a hint of spice that’s so satisfying. Try that with the fried eggplant and you will love it. For dessert the richest and best bread pudding with an amazing tasty rum sauce. Take it home with you, heat it up for about 10 seconds and you have that midnight southern snack that brings you back to your childhood. The atmosphere is relaxing and the southern rustic Louisiana feel makes you wanna sit back and just enjoy the goodness of the evening. Our waitress was Carmin and she was welcoming and offered great advice on every dish we asked about. Great service across the board. The prices ate so affordable for the amount of food served on an entree, even the appetizers. Everything about Louisiana Bayou Bistro is superb from the second you walk in. There was a holiday party in the next room and the atmosphere was never bothered. Been coming here for almost 20 something years and it just gets better and better. The fried shrimp is my favorite. All you can eat for the price is unbeatable. Best food and people across the bridge! I live in Florida and when I come home this is where I love to go. “First time here, my server Conor was exceptional, I have try diferent chargrilled oyster in diferent restaurant like chimes, Felix's other ones, and i ask if they have diferent flavors i wanna try something diferent and they make me something off the menú and they didn't disappoint they where amazing.
