Downtown Seafood Reviews
Since moving Texas anytime I'm back in town I hit downtown seafood great food great service
Good stuff. Great deal
I was greeted by Lady J. They make really fantastic grilled shrimp dinner plates and po-boys. The bread is fresh and soft for a well dressed sandwich. The garlic bread was great with the plate combo. Great service with a smile. Will be back when passing through Baton Rouge. Conveniently located across the Museum of Fine Arts.

Downtown Seafood is a restaurant that serves super good food with super good customer service. The new owner only serves locally-sourced seafood from the Gulf of Mexico, Louisiana, and Mississippi. They make really fantastic grilled shrimp dinner plates, po-boys, and a shrimp plate that comes with fries and a drink. The bread is fresh and soft for a well dressed sandwich, and the garlic bread was great with the plate combo. Other meals include a bacon cheeseburger, a mixed plate with huge fish filets, and a catfish platter with a very generous serving. The food is hot, well portioned for the price, and delicious. The fries are crispy with a type of batter on them. The customer service is excellent, from the host all the way to the cooks. The establishment is small with limited seating, but it is conveniently located across the Museum of Fine Arts.
