The Gregory Reviews
The food was amazing and the bartender staff very friendly and very attentive.
very good food. Tasty well prepared. Duck was done excellent.
The wine by the glass was a very healthy pour
I was really disappointed! The food and the restaurant were fantastic, but the noise level and service were horrible! The bread service and oysters were perfect! Don't order a glass of wine because you will be long finished with your appetizers before it gets to the table! Before you can finish, your entrees show up and then you won't see the waitress again until you are done... don't think about a 2nd glass of wine... By the way, the rabbit and the redfish are wonderful... The...read full review

The Gregory is a restaurant that offers an excellent dining experience. The food and waitstaff are highly praised, providing top-notch service and a welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance is a bit lacking as most of the restaurant is located in the hotel lobby, but the prices are acceptable for the area. The restaurant is especially recommended for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is a perfect spot to eat before a concert at The Manship Theatre. The staff is welcoming, and the ambiance combines a modern, high-end, historic Louisiana vibe with a bank history feel. The bar is attentive, and the cocktail menu is good. The food is well prepared and presented, with dishes like bronze red fish and masked potatoes with goat cheese being highly recommended. The breakfast gets high praise, even from very picky kids, and the service is attentive, with servers like Charmaine being outstanding. The hotel stay is also recommended, as the hotel is cool to stay at and adds to the overall experience. The Gregory provides a decent wine menu and a good, classy bar, making it a suitable choice for those seeking quality food in a not-too-loud environment. The lobby offers a kid-friendly vibe, where children can enjoy playing tic tac toe, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
