“I like Tuckers. The people there are nice. They cook the food fresh when you order. They have excellent fried catfish. So it can take 15-20 min when you order. But, if you want home cooked Cajun food, it's really the only place in Zachary that I feel comfortable going to.“
“Decor is minimum. TVs for sport fans.Ordered pork chop sandwich, onion rings, roast beef sandwich and a cup of etouffee. The sandwiches were large. Pork chop had great crunch; however, after taste was off and we could not figure out the spice. The roast beef was divine but the bread fell apart and I ate it with a fork and knife. Onion rings were decent and so were the fries. Etouffee was pretty good. The roast beef by itself is wonderful!!“
“I know they are short handed at times, but there is one waitress or she just stays behind the counter, not sure, but she doesn’t have a good attitude or “bedside manner” so to speak. All the call in orders get taken care of prior to you being seated. The last 2 times we’ve been there, we’ve had to sit for 20 min while 13 customers (not counted) came in to pick up their call in orders while we just sat & waited. We almost left. The food is good, it’s not great, but it’s good. The shrimp & corn soup is good, but too much corn. The crawfish e’toufe isn’t the best. Their seafood gumbo is good, I do love their fruit, pecan salad with the house dressing.“
“Decided we wanted crawfish for dinner last minute. Barely made it before closing but that wasn’t an issue for these guys. Some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a while and the crawfish were some of the best I’ve had all season. Will definitely be back“
“Went on a Friday evening and it was slammed. First time there, and a 20 min wait, but very worth it. Three of us, for appetizers we had the brunch bread, were well seasoned and very delicious. Entrees were the fried fish, brisket, and chicken pasta. All were great. The sides were delicious too, I especially liked the potato salad.It was worth the short wait, would definitely do again. Big thanks to Jared for the referral.“
