I got the mushroom burger with special fries, and everything was delicious, fresh, and hot! The young lady that owns the restaurant took my order, and she was so sweet and helpful. “Definitely a great place to hear some good blues, r&b, soul music, and occasionally a country or rock n roll song. Also has some good food and whenever there’s no band, Teddy a.k.a. the Painterman gets behind his booth and spins some good ole blues records! This may not be the hottest club in Baton Rouge but it definitely is AUTHENTIC and ORIGINAL.”

“Family took me here for my birthday, it was awesome! Drinks are almost the best part! Food was delicious too!Wheelchair accessibility: I'm in a wheelchair and it was slightly difficult to get in! Sidewalk outside had NO ramp. Tables were almost too close to get through.”

“We ordered 5 All Americans for our family this evening as a takeout order. The burgers were very, very good! They were dressed with fresh premium lettuce, tomato, and purple onion and topped with perfectly melted cheddar cheese. The 1/3lb patties had the ideal flavor and texture. The fries were crisp and slightly seasoned. Each meal came with a drink, which really added to the value. For 2 adults and 3 kids, you can't beat the price or quality. We were very impressed and will be back!”

“I know they are short handed at times, but there is one waitress or she just stays behind the counter, not sure, but she doesn’t have a good attitude or “bedside manner” so to speak. All the call in orders get taken care of prior to you being seated. The last 2 times we’ve been there, we’ve had to sit for 20 min while 13 customers (not counted) came in to pick up their call in orders while we just sat & waited. We almost left. The food is good, it’s not great, but it’s good. The shrimp & corn soup is good, but too much corn. The crawfish e’toufe isn’t the best. Their seafood gumbo is good, I do love their fruit, pecan salad with the house dressing.”

“We were looking for a solid chinese food place in Zachary and THIS is it. I'm originally from Atlanta and haven't found a Chinese place I like as much as Hong Kong Restaurant. I tried it originally because my friend was sick and I ordered her wonton soup from here. The soup was so good and really helped her. I stayed in Zachary for about a week and ate here probably 3 times not greasy, the veggies and meat all taste fresh and the food arrives hot! Thank you, Hong Kong Restaurant!”

“Decor is minimum. TVs for sport fans.Ordered pork chop sandwich, onion rings, roast beef sandwich and a cup of etouffee. The sandwiches were large. Pork chop had great crunch; however, after taste was off and we could not figure out the spice. The roast beef was divine but the bread fell apart and I ate it with a fork and knife. Onion rings were decent and so were the fries. Etouffee was pretty good. The roast beef by itself is wonderful!!”
