“Absolutely delish! My favorite of the night was the vegetables in the brown sauce that came with the meals, thinking about making it an entre for next time for me, I was obsessed! Even my husband enjoyed it and he is not a veggie person.. We loved the sesame chicken, general tsos was a close second and the fried rice was flavorful . The egg rolls are top tier and the egg drop soup was a yummy classic!. I 100% recommend. Wish I had taken photos, but I can hardly think long enough to snap a photo before chowing down. Lol”

“China Wok has been a Zachary staple for over 20 years, and the food is consistently hot and delicious. I’ve tried several things on the menu, and the quality is truly remarkable. Their Egg Foo Young is amazing and the Hunan Pork is absolutely delicious—I personally like to kick up the spice levels by asking them to add chili peppers, and they are always accommodating with the request.
You also have to try the hot wings; they are honestly some of the best around Zachary—always served piping hot, incredibly crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. I don't know if they have ranch or blue cheese to serve with them but honestly they're so good you don't need a dip...
I’ve had many different dishes beyond just the favorites, and the quality is 100% amazing every time. Plus, the service is fast and the portion sizes are large, so you definitely get your money's worth. They have great lunch specials too, but a helpful tip for ordering: if you get the fried rice or a lunch special with fried rice, make sure to specify a protein. Otherwise, it comes as a plain egg fried rice with no vegetables or meat added.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
While the store has been around a long time and isn't as nice on the inside as it could be, but the food is so good you won't even care!”

“This place is a MUST for a Cajun food stop!I got the fish platter and a side of onion rings. Their steak fries are delicious & seasoned, the fish has a unique, more flaky batter, and the onion rings will make you slap your mama right there.
The seasoning on all is spot-on for Cajun food- VERY flavorful, and leaves a little kick in your mouth afterward.
Hubby got a cup of crawfish etoufee and loved it. I think we could’ve ordered anything and loved it.
Not a fancy restaurant, but perfect for family, casual date night, or a gathering of friends. They even have an outdoor porch eating area.
We’re lucky to have this little hidden gem in Zachary!”

My girl Angel in the morning.. THE SWEETEST. Always smiling, always remembers me & just makes my day. She’s also an amazing person- she volunteers at the Children’s museum! Her name fits her so well. She doesn’t get paid enough, I just know it.

Then. Later in the day- my dude GLENN! He’s hilarious, and always talks to my kids if they’re with me. Y’all need to go speak to this young man if you just need a laugh with your drink!

Everyone here is amazing though, the shift lead in the morning, Kiersten (I think that’s how you spell her name) is the sweetest little car hop, and then Diesel the manager is a very thoughtful person who clearly works hard and wants to give back to the community.

“My family and I dined at South Plains Food Company for Mother's Day. The total experience for us was amazing. While we expected to have to wait for seating just because it was Mother's Day - it really, for us, was not too bad. we got seated and the awesomeness was present. Our server, Miss T was amazing. She was very professional in all aspects of her duties, she was friendly but not overly so, she took care of us as if we were her only guests - or course we know that was not the case. Serving simply appeared to be easy for her. Additionally, we observed staff working together to clear tables when guests finished their meal, which allowed those waiting to be seated more quickly. Please remember to ask for Miss T, you will be glad you did.”
