We got there at 11 and ordered crawfish. A few minutes after I paid, they told me they'd be 45 minutes and apologized with free apps!! The crawfish and service were wonderful!! Also, thanks for the bread pudding. We will be back!! The crawfish were worth the wait and they made it right!!!!
Loved the place in New Roads. Food at Zachary is good. I have eaten in the restaurant and to go. Love the onion rings, po boys, and burgers. Why one less star - drinks are not as good as the New Roads location. The Zachary takeout window service needs work (more training). The staff immediately asks for a tip but fails to inquire about sauces needed with your order.

Decor is minimum. TVs for sport fans.Ordered pork chop sandwich, onion rings, roast beef sandwich and a cup of etouffee. The sandwiches were large. Pork chop had great crunch; however, after taste was off and we could not figure out the spice. The roast beef was divine but the bread fell apart and I ate it with a fork and knife. Onion rings were decent and so were the fries. Etouffee was pretty good. The roast beef by itself is wonderful!!
