4 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Zachary

“I am just almost speechless at how great this location is. My food was hot, fresh, well packaged in the bag and just wonderful!! The lettuce was crisp and the tomato was firm and the cheese melted. All other places, they slap a piece of cold cheese on the burger, half your fries are in the bottom of the bag and the whole order is lukewarm or room temperature. Not here!! Just amazing that the burger actually looks just like the picture!! I am a heavy critic and hard to please, any one that knows me will tell you that about me, so to leave a review such as this one is very rare. The wait was decent and you could tell that your food was prepared fresh; Not a precooked patty that had been setting for too long. I ordered the special with the cheese burger, chicken nuggets and your choice of fries, tater tots or onion rings. I got the tater tots. Everything was hot and fresh and I was more than thoroughly pleased. Wendy's and McDonald's could definitely take some lessons. They don't put any vegetables on their burgers with their specials, and their meat is nothing like Sonic's meat. I see some complaining about the prices. You see the price of the items on the menu and if it's too much for you, leave it there!! The price is more than others, but damned well worth it, I thought. Sonic is more upscale than the other places and I feel like the quality of food is better as well. The locations in Zachary, LA and Denham Springs, LA are the best in the general surrounding area. Keep it up guys, you are number one in my book!!!!!“

“We've all but sworn off McDonald's over the years. Because, the quality has gotten so bad. But, decided to go to this one today, because, I wanted to get an adult Happy Meal. Even though they didn't have any left, we went ahead and ordered, anyway. And, I have to say, apart from the fact that they've made the burgers so much smaller over the years, the food was delicious, hot, and fresh, this time. We were pleasantly surprised. Only complaint, is the fountain drinks tasted funny. We will definitely be back to this location.“
