Subway in Zachary is a good spot to grab a sandwich. The manager and owner, along with the friendly, young workers, care about their customers. However, there are inconsistencies in the amount of toppings on the sandwiches. Some workers skimp on ingredients, while others are more generous. Customers can ask for more toppings, but the baseline amount is lacking for the price. The workers can rush through making sandwiches and sometimes make mistakes, like over-toasting. Despite these issues, the ingredients are fresh, and the bread is made with care. The customer service is generally good if customers are polite. The staff, mostly high schoolers, work efficiently even during busy times with mobile orders. The store is clean and the sandwiches are well-prepared. While there can be occasional hiccups like soggy sandwiches from delivery orders, overall Subway in Zachary is a decent place to enjoy a well-crafted sandwich.
