Some of the best fried or grilled fish and shrimp and the fried chicken and red beans is pretty good too. The only thing missing from the beans is sausage. Service is good as well.
I highly recommend the grilled shrimp salad. I had the baby shrimp. All ingredients were fresh. Service was great.
This place is awesome. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Service was amazing. I would definitely be back.

Sam's Southern Eatery offers great fresh cooked food. The decor may be dated but clean, and the service can be slow when busy. The salad is recommended. The food was the best tasted since being in Louisiana, with amazing customer service. The Gyro Poboy was loved, and the servers were all smiles and very polite. It's some of the best food in Southeast Louisiana, with great down home cookin' and awesome service. They do not disappoint.
The restaurant is a cute small-town spot with excellent service. The food comes out quickly, and the portions are good. Customers have enjoyed the pastas and seafood, which are known to be the specialties. The fried catfish, shrimp, and crab cakes with a side of green beans are all good options. The shrimp with onion rings is also a top-notch seafood dish. The servers are friendly and helpful, with Brayley and Brayle providing great service. The prices are good, and customers have had a positive experience with the double meat burger with cheese, fries, gizzard basket with okra, and red beans and rice.
