“On the recommendation of a co-worker we went to Atchafalaya Cafe. I got the seafood trio (seafood platter). The quality and the size of the shrimp, oysters, and fish were great. There was plenty on the plate as well. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd have to say it's the best I've had in a year or so.The potato salad wasn't near as good. It was basically just potatoes drenched in mayonnaise. I don't recommend that.“

“Nice place. Order at the counter. Many combinations for selecting seafood, chinese, etc. I had shrimp and oyster combo. Fried really well but not seasoned well for south Louisiana. Still good food. Staff very friendly and helpful when ordering.“
“First impression was that the decor dated, but clean. There was a sizeable amount of customers for the 3 waitresses that were on duty so service was a little slow. I ordered a shrimp basket which were tasty but were a little over cooked and rubbery. Overall grade: a low 4 star.“

“Good food, fair prices, and generous portions. There was no indoor seating, so we ate in the airconditioned car. Had the catfish and fried rice. I'll be back to try other dishes. You can get your tire patched for only $10 while you wait!“
