First impression was that the decor dated, but clean. There was a sizeable amount of customers for the 3 waitresses that were on duty so service was a little slow. I ordered a shrimp basket which were tasty but were a little over cooked and rubbery. Overall grade: a low 4 star.

Ordered the catfish. Was crispy, just the way I like to eat my fish. They do use a tad bit too much salt in there dip. I can’t see how people can tolerate the amount of saltiness. It’s horrible. Not sure if there is a ATM inside, but the casino probably has one which connects to the eatery.Vegetarian options: All vegans should just eat vegan foods. Lol. I’m not a vegan, but I do recommend the salad. Probably not too much options for vegans here. Wouldn’t recommend for a vegetarian to eat here. Mainly a seafood eatery.Parking: Plenty of parking spots. I didn’t bother to count the number of spots, but you are welcome to do so.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They serve fried/grilled fish, shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp, ? legs and chicken, along with red beans & rice, slaw, hush puppies, corn, okra, and green beans, Lexi was our server and she provided over the top service. Food was prepared as ordered, we received generous portions regarding every entree. The whole fried fish was impeccable. The shrimp ? was cooked perfectly. I would recommend Sam's Southern Eatery to anyone passing through or the locals. Thank you ALL for a tasty and enjoyable meal.

The seafood is good especially the fish. Not a fan of the burgers. They taste artificial. The Philly cheese steak isn't bad. Good service and good prices.
Wife and i went at lunch was eyeballed but waitresses sat for 20 minutes with no service no ill be with you in a moment while short white woman brunette older waitress keeps going back and fourth looking at us group of guys come sit by us here she comes no wait for them thats when we decided to leave may 16 2023 12:30 to 1 pm normally get good food and service but not today
