The burger was literally swimming in sauce, which was a ridiculously sloppy mess. I think the black chicken should have been steamed and then smoked. In addition to being cooked enough, the charred chicken skin that I expected did not appear. My husband has been insisting that he must eat it when he comes to Morgan City for seven years. When he came with his boss before, I had a good taste in my memory, but I was disappointed. I tried to make it look better in the photos, but the food speaks for itself. Only the pork belly meat is up to par. I am willing to go back. Come here once and order a completely different meal to see if it is as good as the reviews. Boss, please, find reasons, don’t make excuses, you can do better，Boss, to be more precise, there is nothing wrong with the waiter. It is your recipe or the food is not delicious enough. It is the source of the problem. The BBQ-flavored roasted whole chicken I bought in the deli section of the supermarket opposite you is more delicious than yours. , you just smear Tabasco hot sauce on the chicken skin, and the chicken is cooked. We took the endless pulled pork burger home and opened it to see that it was chopped into dices. You can't pull out the pork pieces. Tell me you have a Texas taste. i cant review the food because i never received my order BUT heres how i felt about the business overall:walked in at 710pm on a friday. about 3/4 of the tables had people the other 1/4 were covered in trash (had not been bussed).waited at least 5 mins before a table was cleaned off...ok, thats a start.waited about 10 mins for the lady to return to take my order even though i was ready when she sat me. finally placed order, hungrier than a mofo and 15mins after i order, the lady returns to announce they out of what i ordered....mmmmm....yeah...35mins down the toilet. great first experience. At least the 2 young ladies i interacted with were nice.

Super good food and friendly staff. The pulled pork, mac and cheese, and baked beans were off the hook. Brisket on the other hand was nothing special. Sausage on the other hand was fine but not as good as the pulled pork. Highly recommend if your in the area like Louisiana Retro Con for ex.

Went in got osyters for my daughter called ahead they told me it'll be 15 minutes for there in 20 wasn't ready I waited almost 40 for them this is normally a great place to go I only could assume they were understaffed all in all my daughter loved her

I’m visiting Morgan city and just wanted some good bbq. I got the 2 meat plate the price was not what was listed. I got the ribs, chicken, baked beans and potato salad. The food was not that great, the skin on the chicken was not edible and the ribs were okay. I called in the order and tried to pick up from window but everyone ignored me so I went in. I give this place a 1/10 the 1 is for the sub par ribs.

Food was very bad I couldn't even eat it. The chicken taste dry as if it was a few days old. The sausage I could not identify what it was. It didn't even taste like meat I every taste the sausage was tasteless. The coslaw was salty. I had the ribs it was OK but I didn't even finish. I was afraid to eat the sausage due to me not knowing what kind of sausage it was. I was shocked that if this place sells food like this all the time how their still open for business. I git the 3 meat plate it said 16.00 but I end up paying 24.00 for a plate I had to throw in the trash. So sad I'm afraid to eat there again. This has to be the worst BBQ place I ever ate or didn't eat at..Food was unidentifiable..
