Me and my grand son stopped by on the way fishing eggs were not fully cooked french toast was hard and chewy sausage had a weird after taste my grandson wouldn't eat nuthen but 2 pieces of chicken he asked for a waffle and waitress said this aint waffle house and still charged him full buffet price so i spent over $40 and still had to stop and feed him at waffle house for $6

Been anxious to come here and I was not disappointed. Food was really yummy and the waitresses and cooks were amazing. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming and very attentive! Felt very homey and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back soon!

This is the worst restaurant in Louisiana, at least in the city of Morgan City.I've had better out of a powdered substance they've made eggs in county jail. I couldn't eat half the eggs that were given to me and a 1/2 sausage link without running to the bathroom and throwing it all up in their bathroom and I didn't make it in the bowl or the sink, but I was raised better, so I cleaned it all up. But that's the worst food i've eaten inside the borders of louisiana , by far do not go to this restaurant. It's a national chain and everything you get there is what you're getting anywhere else. All you can taste was the butter that they put on the skillet and way too much so they didn't have to clean it properly at the end of the shift. The bacon was overcooked. And I gave up all my meal. And I know the servers know this because I would give them a two star , but they're not earning one star on atmosphere's service for food from me

The Shoney's breakfast buffet was more than adequate and satisfied my expectations. The staff was friends, professional, and transparent. Like everything else, the price for the buffet has gone up. It was over $20 per person for the buffet with a milk at the Morgan City location. That said, I wasn't upset by this realization given the quality of service and food at the buffet.

Buffet attendant told me I couldn't serve myself, although the food was ready, five minutes before the posted start time. Cabbage soup not standard Shoney's recipe. Liver was cold. Disappointing but wait staff very friendly and helpful!!!
