The breakfast food is best 1 hour after they open. The food is cold when they open cuz it was prepared ahead of time and the heaters are not warmed up yet but the breakfast was actually really good. The French toast sticks are so good mmmmm.

I stopped in here about 130 for a quick lunch. Nothing I tried was very fresh tasting just was barely warm on the buffet 🙀 The French toast you see there was like jerky French toast it was so dried out 😵💫 The fruit I had for dessert was about the only good thing in my mind The staff seemed pleasant The restaurant seems very outdated and dark. I believe this is the first 1 ⭐️ I’ve ever given 😐🤢

Had the soup and salad bar. Gumbo with no rice was interesting, the gumbo tasted delicious but I needed rice, I must say it was about 2 p.m. so that probably has something to do with the half empty soup n salad bar. Service was great and reasonably fast. Check out was prompt too. Next time I will try to go in before or closer to lunch to see what's available when the buffet is full. Reasonably clean bathroom for the age of the building could use a good scrubbing around fixtures in the women's restroom.
First time in Louisiana to begin with ! Heart ❤️ loved the state ,& towns .. never even heard of this restaurant so I stopped in to try something new .. horrible service... was dirty . Was to cold inside to where it's not comfortable to eat bring a sweater.. it was 1:30 and we seen buffet set out. We had no idea their buffet ends at 2 .. while we sat down with our first plate of food the kitchen staff starts pulling all food from the buffet so rood even the manager pulled food ! Very disappointed.. we were then told by the waiter thar they pull food at 2.. so she said Hurry and get another plate cause there pulling the food. Their was no need for more food.. the food was gross very cold food with no flavor no salt no seasoning.. chicken was raw.. pork chops was raw.. macaroni was over good very mushy and had no taste the sauce to Mac tasted like water . We immediately drank our tea and paid and went on our way .. .. all in all no thank you

Was here for their breakfast buffet. Loved their spread, the biscuits and gravy, ham, bacon, scrambled eggs, french toast sticks, pancakes and syrup, fried chicken fingers and oh Lord, their sweet potato mash with walnuts. All of it was delicious. Also being Father's day, the lady who served us, Ashley brought us a huge piece of chocolate ice cream cake. The service here was friendly, prompt and accomodating. Keep up the good work, Shoneys!
