Been anxious to come here and I was not disappointed. Food was really yummy and the waitresses and cooks were amazing. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming and very attentive! Felt very homey and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back soon!
The Shoney's breakfast buffet was more than adequate and satisfied my expectations.
The staff was friends, professional, and transparent.
Like everything else, the price for the buffet has gone up. It was over $20 per person for the buffet with a milk at the Morgan City location.
That said, I wasn't upset by this realization given the quality of service and food at the buffet.

Buffet attendant told me I couldn't serve myself, although the food was ready, five minutes before the posted start time. Cabbage soup not standard Shoney's recipe. Liver was cold. Disappointing but wait staff very friendly and helpful!!!
