Once my absolute favorite restaurant now average at best. When the facility is in disrepair, when swapping good silverware and cloth napkins for paper, and forks that look like they were stamped out of a cookie sheet that the dollar tree wouldn't sell. It Just makes me wonder what cuts were made that I can't see in kitchen. I remember the first location on ditch st in Morgan City. Quality, consistently good food and service.

This place is a health hazard. The ceilings are falling down and dripping with water and black mold next to your table. These people are obviously not investing any money in up keep. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Atmosphere is important to me when eating outing. Never again here.

I just read a review about the black mold!!! I'm seriously going to have to check!!! I love to go out to many restaurants and I demand cleanliness!!! Also... This goes for Tampicos and any other restaurant... WHO TAUGHT THE SERVERS TO HOLD THE TOP OF THE GLASS/CUP WHEN THEY GIVE YOU YOUR DRINK??? It's disgusting to see my drink being served to me with someone's dirty hands on the rim of my glass/cup when they're giving it to me! That is extremely rude and unclean! If the board of health came in and got served, with hands all over the rim of their glass, they'd shut your business down! This goes for many many restaurants these days! Please, take notice and review about the uncleanliness of this action. I can't believe servers aren't taught not to touch where people are going to put their mouths!... Ugh

I want to say something good for them, but I can't find anything special to describe it, because there is nothing special and you will forget it once you eat it. The beef is so hard that you can't bite it, and everything else is okay, so it's nothing special. My only highlight is that their main margarita is extremely delicious.

Salsa was way peppery.Quesadilla was to much cheese each portion of them had 2 pieces meat. Not enough for price.

Service was terrible. I understand they were busy but the server only came to take drink order, brought drinks and took our order at the same time then brought food. Never came for refills on drinks and we sat there for 30 minutes after we finished eating to get the check.

There was black mold everywhere on the ceiling and the salsa was terrible, tasted like tomatoes only. The service was good but when we asked to cancel our order the manager made the server pay for the food after we offered to just pay for it and take it and go. The poor girl shouldn’t have had to pay for it
