Once my absolute favorite restaurant now average at best. When the facility is in disrepair, when swapping good silverware and cloth napkins for paper, and forks that look like they were stamped out of a cookie sheet that the dollar tree wouldn't sell. It Just makes me wonder what cuts were made that I can't see in kitchen. I remember the first location on ditch st in Morgan City. Quality, consistently good food and service.
I just read a review about the black mold!!! I'm seriously going to have to check!!! I love to go out to many restaurants and I demand cleanliness!!!
Also... This goes for Tampicos and any other restaurant... WHO TAUGHT THE SERVERS TO HOLD THE TOP OF THE GLASS/CUP WHEN THEY GIVE YOU YOUR DRINK??? It's disgusting to see my drink being served to me with someone's dirty hands on the rim of my glass/cup when they're giving it to me! That is extremely rude...

I want to say something good for them, but I can't find anything special to describe it, because there is nothing special and you will forget it once you eat it. The beef is so hard that you can't bite it, and everything else is okay, so it's nothing special. My only highlight is that their main margarita is extremely delicious.
