Just ate at Bayou Soul, and the food was fantastic! My husband and I shared a shrimp poboy and fries, and literally could not eat it all. The shrimp tasted so fresh and the poboy was a New Orleans type bread. The owner was super nice. We will return next time we pass through.

I can truly say that the food is very good and the people that work there I know them personally and they are very nice to me every time I go there I just wish Mis Butter had a bigger stove just so she could bake 4 cakes at one time because if you don't get in line on-time the cake is gone because everyone loves her cakes ? omg BOOOOOM I thank God for The staff and management of Bayou Soul Restaurant ?

This was a great hidden gem in Natchitoches! I had a catfish po boy and it was better than I could’ve imagined! The owner let us try some of his shrimp and crawfish pasta which was so amazing as well! My only complaint is that they close at 3! They need to be open all day!

I had heard about this place and it definitely lived up to the hype!!! I got the fried fish and seafood etoufee with the Mac n cheese best decision I’ve made in a long time!!! The macaroni cooked to a perfection and the fish was crisp and flavorful the plate was packed down I’ll definitely make this a normal stop when I’m in town!!!

Let me tell ya. I drove from Leesville, just to try his food; and it was well worth the drive. That turkey neck plate and the fish/shrimp plate, was EVERYTHING. The peach cobbler pound cake and that kool-aid; I’m mad I didn’t get more.

Best black owned restaurant in town! The food was amazing, I ordered a cheeseburger and fry combo with a KoolAid. It was smashing, the taste and bun was toasted! The customer service was great! Arrived in town for a meeting and decided to check this place out. Y’all them Queso fries and Koolaid (Tropical Punch) OMG. Then a slice of that Parline Pound Cake! Lord have mercy it was DELICIOUS. The service and atmosphere was exceptional. Will be stopping in again, whenever I am near or passing this area!! Guys I also purchased additional cake(strawberry pound cake)for my family and punch( lemonade and grape) and they want more. Trust and believe…drop in you will not be disappointed.
