I’ve looked forward to stopping here every time we are in the area. Stopped for gas, restrooms and refreshments. Bought a pie to bring home for thanksgiving. My boyfriend was in the food line. After I paid for the pie and refreshments, went to stand with him. Young worker came to me explaining there is a no backpack policy. My purse is backpack style but in no way a backpack. I was looking at wine. Likely would have made another purchase. You can’t have my purse for any reason. I was happy when we stopped because I’ve always enjoyed it. I left very upset and disappointed. If that’s how customers are treated, I don’t want it
Had the Ritchie chicken Philly cheesesteak…made by Ritchie and Grant. It was well worth it after a full day of meetings and travel. The mix of chicken to spice, grilled onions, and jalapeño, and of course cheese…worth it. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast is kinda ok, not consistently.
Po boy dry, def should come with some lemon wedges n coleslaw
Sweets are good, when fresh- little too much sugar
10/10 coconut pie 🤌
some of the best fast food around--also priced right--

Left Shreveport Saturday morning headed to Lafayette and made a stop for coffee and breakfast. This place has everything you could need for a road trip! Found a great little gift to entertain my grandson at the tennis tournament. :) Then had to stop back by The French Market on my way home for a coffee and a good laugh from the staff. Don't miss this place if you are traveling on I-49!!
Aidan made me the best chicken wrap in the world
Don’t miss it!!! Looks like just a regular local gas station but the secret inside. Looks like the locals know about this one but if you’re an out-of-towner you might miss it. So glad we stopped in. Fresh pastries, cakes and pies and the Louisiana Yam Cake you’ve gotta try. There was a chocolate pound cake also. And all at great prices for the value. Large freezer section of LA meats, sausages and LA specialties. If I could have kept everything frozen back to Texas I’d have about tons of the stuff. Souvenirs. Huge hot breakfast selection and lunch and dinner available. Skip the national chains surrounding it and head here.
Nice little place for a pitstop. All the normal convenience store amenities plus trinkets, hot food and a bakery.
Excellent food and even better service. My po-boy was enough for two meals. My husband enjoyed all three of his crawfish meat pies. Prices were very reasonable. Thank you!

The food and service were both SO good that my company plans to use French Market again for future events! Our participants were extremely pleased with the quality of food we received.
Wyatt the goat, man. Greatest to ever do it.
Workers are awesome. They called me by name when they thanked me for stopping by. BTW. The natchitoches meat pies were AWESOME!
My husband loves this place. He says it's the best food and the best prices!!
The coffee is great and the people are even better!
Wyatt made me a fresh pot of Dark brew!
The only place worth stopping in natchitoches!
