Mama's never disappoints! It's been 10 years since we visited, and it's only gotten better (if that's possible). The fried gator bites were so tender and tasty, and that sauce is to die for. The oyster poboy delivered on our craving. Excellent, friendly service. Wish we lived closer.

Unfortunately I can't post a picture of the food. Ordered take out. Three fish dinners. Paid 60.00 and got four little fish nuggets, two marble sized hush puppies, and fries on all three plates. Imagine my surprise when I got home (30 miles away) and opened that box. Didn't even get a kiss.

We had a great waitress but the worst food I've had from a restaurant in a very long time. I had the chargrilled oysters but they were still raw and had an overbearing fish flavor ( and I love chargrilled oysters) I also had a shrimp cocktail. You could have made tires out of the shrimp they were so rubbery. My wife had the breaded popcorn shrimp. They were burnt to a crisp. 64 bucks and left the food on the table.I highly recommend finding another place to eat.

Paid $22 for 8 shrimp and they gave me 7. Salad bar was disgusting. There seems to be no management, just college kids trying to do their best.

This is my first ever review. Have never felt so inclined to leave one, but had to after this experience. Horrible service, and outrageous prices for small serving amount and poor quality of food. Ordered a $30 combination “platter” (shrimp and catfish) thinking it could be shared between 2. The plate literally came with 3 shrimp, 3 catfish NUGGETS, and maybe 10 fries. It was 10 of us at a table - 8 of us got our food after about 40 minutes, and the other two didn’t get their food until about 20 minutes after everyone was finished with their food. Server was consistently neglectful and had a bad attitude when asked for things and when concerns were expressed. We had to ask for silverware, straws, refills, bill, etc. Drink and side orders were forgotten about. Manager said the best they could do was take 10% off of the bill. Gratuity was included in the bill, but it was not deserved whatsoever, and this is coming from a table full of ex-servers.

Get the BBQ Shrimp!!! It was so good, very well seasoned. Zenobia was a delightful waitress!

Door was open, even on a cold, damp Saturday night. Felt like no one was really "in charge" and waited on someone to notice us standing in the doorway. It's a bar, so the atmosphere is open but a bit dark. Not full at the early evening hour we went, though was filling up when we left around 6P. First table we were seated, we thought we could handle the cold, but asked to move. Unsweet teas were promptly delivered by Dairen, who was helpful and answered any questions we had about the menu. Opted for the spinach dip with fried breaded pasta as chips ($13.99). The dip was very good and not goopy; the pasta chips, though, were a miss. I'd prefer bread, crackers, tortillas or even deep fried unbreaded pasta chips. We had the crab cakes appetizer ($15.99), which was 2 cakes served with remoulade on top, which was surprisingly not a horseradish remoulade. Cakes were a bit bready and not much crab. Really wanted a 1/2 doz oysters on the shell, but the season we've had garnered a $15.99, so I skipped. We saved ourselves for dessert, which was the Peanut Butter Sin Bar ($8.99). AMAZING! Like having a Reese's brownie covered in peanut sauce, served warm. Check out was a snap. Ask for Dairin for good but not hovering service. :)

Except for the fries everything else was terrible. I ordered the catfish creole and my wife ordered the catfish pasta. Pasta was disgusting and mine was just awful. No seasoning at all and the pasta was just velveta cheese over fish and crawfish. Atmosphere was nice and wait staff more occupied with talking instead of tending to customers. Never going here again.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the nice waitress we had. My wife and I both ordered the catfish creole. Very small portion of food for a rather high price. Nearly chipped my tooth on the overfried, hard as a rock hush puppy (the ONE that was included). Had maybe two shrimp in the small spoonful of creole they gave. Food did not taste good. Very disappointing.
