Was in town for work and needed to get lunch for my crew. They bent over backward to help me out as I left it until the last minute! Fantastic service and great food! Make sure you stop in when you're around.

We stopped in Natchitoches during our road trip to explore its history and decided to grab lunch at this little deli/pub. We ordered the crawfish fettuccine, but it was extremely salty.
The waitress and cook were very sweet and kindly remade the dish, but unfortunately, it was still just as salty. After a while, they admitted that they couldn’t adjust the salt level because the sauce was store-bought. Maybe they should also check the amount of salt they add to the pasta water.
The portion was small (even in European standard) and for the price, it definitely wasn’t worth it. Especially for something that isn’t homemade/ fresh.

It was not very crowded when we sat down. Then a large family came in as we were waiting for someone to give us menu's. The large family was waited on & served drinks before us. My husband got up & asked for a menu. The waitress told us they were busy & she'd be with us in a couple of minutes.
We were there before it got busy!
The menu was limited & they were out of most. I had 2 choices. Pizza or a meat pie.
My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza & I got the meat pie. We were not impressed but were starving. We drove all day to get to Natchitoches & it was the only place that didn't have a line outside.
Lesson learned. I don't recommend & won't go back.

The pizza crust was unappetizing and tasted like a burnt cracker. There is a giant pile of things in the dining area that should be in a storage closet

Ordered takeout once without issue, but the last two times I've called no one has answered. My wife and I really enjoyed the muffuletta, reuben, and spinach & artichoke dip.

Got the fettuccini Alfredo to go because I’m in a rush. This is like 5 bites of food?? And for $13? And the sauce tasted like store bought sauce at best. I hope the rest of the food offered has bigger portions.

The lady working the place told us that they'd recently been slammed with customers. We gave grace and waited for her to get things together. It took at least 10 minutes for us to get menus, then another ten minutes for her to come back to take our orders. About five minutes after we placed our orders, she came back to our table to tell us that they didn't have any of the food we ordered. Their lack of food was blamed on the rush. We ordered different items, but ultimately we canceled them and left the restaurant. As we were getting ready to leave, she ran over to take our payment for the drinks. That was the only time she seemed to have any true interest in our table.
Muffaletta was enough to feed me 3 times!

Pizza and Grilled Chicken Ceasar salad. Pizza was delicious. Salad was good flavor. But sooooo small for what we were charged. I can't get a salad 3x the size at Zaxbys for the same price. Was little disappointed. Server was sweet and good spirits.

My daughter and I popped in after a photoshoot at NSU. I had chicken spaghetti and she had pepperoni pizza. Great food and service. Spending time with my daughter is the best part!

The restaurant is small and has an informal vibe. The wait staff was attentive and the service was fairly quick. The three-topping pizza that I had was quite good; I especially liked the cheese. A variety of drink options are offered. The Pub is in a great location, right in the center of the city. Lots of shopping on Front Street, and the city park on Cane River Lake, right across the street, is a scenic place for walking.
Parking: Free street parking is available. Mayeaux’s Nakatosh Deli & Pub is located at the corner of Church and Front Streets in downtown Natchitoches. This is the city’s “ground zero” and a high traffic area. If you can’t find a parking place in front of the Pub, there is free street parking available for several blocks.

My daughter and I decided to walk down to this little restaurant tonight to get a bite to eat after driving into town for a college tour. I am normally a pretty easy going go with the flow type of person. We walked in and were immediately told that the only seats that were available were the 2 window seats because the rest were reserved…even though the website says they don’t take reservations. That was fine. We sat, smiling, waiting for menus. After over 5 minutes, I finally got up to ask the girl at the counter who was being entertained by a group of young men if we were supposed to order at the counter. She quickly said no ma’am and brought some menus and took our drink order. My daughter and I were still smiling and happy. We ordered 2 sandwiches a few minutes later. We sat and talked and waited for the food to arrive. After about 35 minutes and no server communication or anything and the restaurant is empty except for myself and my daughter and 2 people waiting on takeout at the bar so I figured it shouldn’t be taking that long so I ask how much longer…that’s when things took a turn. This girl then informs me after we’ve been waiting all this time that the tables that were “reserved” called their order in ahead of time so they had to make that first. Now…these tables are empty and we are sitting waiting in the restaurant and they chose to not care whether we got served in a timely manner. At that point, I got aggravated so we left. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
