Mayeaux's Steak & Seafood Restaurant

The steaks are amazing! Service is excellent, and everyone is very polite. Even the ow er/chef came out and talked to us. We had 4 days in town and ate there 2 times. Actually, we were there on our honeymoon in 2016, my husband had the same dish again. And it was still as wonderful.

We had dinner here last week and the food was AMAZING!! The atmosphere was great! Our waitress, Abby, was one of the best servers ever! She was very attentive, very informative and had great recommendations! The buttermilk pie is insanely delicious! Thank you for a fabulous meal and experience!

The fish...utterly amazing and were crispy with right mix of cornmeal covering pearly white flavorful fish. The shrimp were absolutely perfect and complimented with Grandma's sweet tea and a stuffed potatoes cooked to perfection. Wow, just wow!

This is the first place we ate at when we visited Natchitoches. And when I say it was good, I mean it was great! The Red Fish Cocodrie is a must!! That fish was fried so flaky and had a delicious taste with their pirogue sauce that I still think about it! And it was thick too! My wife got the BBQ shrimp, which was also good. We tried the Buttermilk Pie with ice cream. So good!

During a birthday trip to Natchitoches, we first stumbled upon Mayeaux's for a quick drink and appetizer before our riverboat tour. We immediately dug the vibe and the cocktails were on point....even got roadies for the boat ride! Thanks to Riley with her graciousness and hospitality, we canceled our dinner reservations at another restaurant to come back to Mayeaux's for the full experience. Grace was our very attentive and precious server, ensuring this birthday dinner was perfect and memorable. All the dishes were delicious and impeccably prepared. We ordered a variety, so you can't go wrong with this menu. However, if a delectable ribeye is the order of the day, Mayeaux's is your place!

The hamburger steak with rice and gravy is phenomenal! My favorite Cajun dish of all time!
