Merci Beaucoup Restaurant

Outstanding food and service. My wife and fly our airplane to this city for the scenery and especially to come to this restaurant.

Food was very good but could have been hotter. Was just warm. Waitress was very nice but had to many tables

Merci Beaucoup never disappoints. The catfish in the Catfish Beaucoup is perfectly cooked. Their etouffee is smooth and flavorful. Another favorite is the baked potato topped with etouffee. Their salads are cold and crisp. We dine here whenever we are in Natchitoches between 11:00 and 3:00.

Delicious food! We ate at Merci Beaucoup for lunch and it was wonderful. The seafood platter was amazing. The husband ordered the Ruebun and he liked his also. The service and atmosphere is very delightful. I would definitely recommend eating here while visiting Natchitoches.

Had an Awesome Experience for my first time in!!! This is one my Sister's favorite place and I must say the food was good!! The service was also great!!! Had the Catfish and was Not disappointed!!!💜💜

Very nice wait staff. I ordered a meat pie plate. The meat pie was delicious, although I think they are commercially made. Didn’t care for the dirty rice, it didn’t have a lot of seasoning. The meal came with a small salad that was fresh.

Food was good service was well below expectation. Sat us quickly. After 15 - 20 mins after sitting had to ask someone to get our drink order. Then 15 min later they came to get our order. Brought salad soon thereafter. 20 mins later main dish. Waitress took our order and brought food and bill. Never checked on us at all. Gave tip mainly for kitchen. Food was good-fried catfish and crab cakes.

Wonderful restaurant! Can't say enough about it!

Great restaurant near historic front street in Natchitoches, LA. Staff had a great sense of southern hospitality. This was the first time I’ve ever had a meat pie and it was delicious. We also ordered some mini crawfish meat pies which were great as well. You can substitute the dirty rice for a cup of gumbo!

We ate there at 1:30 on October 11th, 2024. We shared a catfish plate and got a side of redbeans and rice. Everything was hot and freshly cooked, it was some of the best catfish and redbeans we've ever had. Our server was adorable and so very nice, we will definitely be going back again.

Parking: Parking in front and a side lot, plus street parking.

This place is across the street from our hotel. However, we waited until the day we were leaving to have lunch here. Wow! Another great restaurant! My wife enjoyed the Meat Pie Plate. I enjoyed the Catfish Beaucoup. It was delicious. For dessert, the "Louisiana Sin Bar" was heavenly or sinfully delicious!! My wife got the "Old Fashioned Bread Pudding," which she enjoyed, and I enjoyed tasting.

Gumbo had so much meat in it. Crawfish meat pies crawfish étouffée

My first time there, and I had heard so much good about this place, so I was excited to try it. My main entree was the baked potato topped with crawfish etoufee and one fried jumbo shrimp. It came with a side salad which the salad brought to me was not impressive at all. The potato was ok, but not something I would order again…. No WOW factor that I was hoping for, being the menu noted it was a top choice. And last but not least…. I am a big fan of bread pudding (very popular in the south) so I was excited to try theirs. I was soooo disappointed! I think it was the worst presentation of bread pudding I have ever had! The bread pudding was sitting in a bowl of what should have been the delicious Rum or butter sauce but it had the consistency of milk! It was not thick AT ALL, and there was a lot of it!…meaning the liquid… not the bread pudding! I poured it off! YUK!!! And it was supposed to come with whipped cream on top but did not! Just TERRIBLE! I almost sent it back!
