Food is pretty pricey, service was fine. Biggest complaint and red flag was roaches. Sat down and immediately found a small roach on the table. Looked up to tell my husband and saw an even bigger one on the wall. Immediately lost my appetite ? got the grilled shrimp salad. Was fine. Nothing to write home about.

We ate at a Sam's Eatery in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and were very impressed, so being that we're new to Natchitoches, we thought we'd try this location. First impression was not good. The place is dark & dingy. There were only 3 people in the dining room. That should have been the first clue. It was during lunch time. The young man at the counter was nice, but that's where the compliments stop. The price is too high for what you get. The food is nasty. The ladies bathroom was disgusting. We each ordered fried shrimp, 2 sides and drink. The amount for this was almost 50$ and that is during lunch. The food was served in Styrofoam containers, with plastic forks. This might explain the soggy batter on the shrimp. The shrimp had zero flavor. We were very disappointed. Based on the lack of cleanliness and lack of quality in the food, we will not be going back.
I have no clue how good the food is in this establishment. My husband and I found them on Google and decided to give them a try. We walked in, were barely greated, asked a question to the young lady at the counter to which she ignored bc she was on a FaceTime call and just continued her phone conversation as we stood there. So we walked out and went next door to the Trailboss Steakhouse. VERY glad we left Sam's.

There’s so much grease on the floor. You could actually scrape it off with a putty knife. The door looked between the restaurant and the kitchen looks like the floor. The menu on the counter where you order is so filthy and old and disgusting. There’s a large mirror on the wall when you walk in is so filthy, that was my first and last trip. I would’ve laughed except my husband as well and I didn’t wanna go look for another place, against my common sense.

It was a family dinner today with 25 of us n service was great, food was hot n fresh n the big guy was fast patient n took everyone's order like a champ n they was busy busy busy..our order was correct the 1st time...he made us feel right at home
Parking: Plenty of free parking with handicap parking available n they do have a drive thru window for the ones that are on the go
Kid-friendliness: 4 children was in our group n they was comfortable with everything
