I went back and forth on making this post, but decided to to hopefully help out any future prospective customers, as I ultimately would NOT recommend this place. I was new to town and engaged, and drove by this place while exploring town. I decided to try some of their stuff, and it was pretty good! We did a tasting, and it went well, so my husband and I decided to book them.
On the wedding day, I was in the bridal suite, literally seconds away from walking down the aisle, when someone (I'm not entirely sure who) from the bakery popped her head in the door that opens to the outside. She says she went to the wrong place first, but that they're here now and wanted to know where to set up. I found this extremely unprofessional, and it stressed me out right before I walked down the aisle.
Some other smaller details that led to my decision to not recommend them:
- We had a few communication issues leading up to the day of. i was understanding at the time, but it was frustrating that i had to call and message a couple times to get an answer back about something.
- My husband, along with a few people in my family or wedding party, told me the groom's cake wasn't super good or that it tasted kind of off. it was red velvet flavored.
- The cookies were very good, but i felt the decor/design on them was not as good as i had hoped, or seen in some of their other pictures. it looked as though they had been a bit rushed.
All in all, it wasn't a glaringly negative experience, but just one that left me a bit more stressed than I feel I should have been. If you're looking to book for a much smaller event, like a birthday party or something, then this bakery should be fine!

I have had two experiences at this location. The first time was a few months into arriving in town which was good. Good design and good flavors. The second was a custom order Birthday cake and cupcakes. The cupcakes were not ready at the agreed upon time, guidance of color scheme was given, but the design chosen by the baker was very poor in creativity as well as quality as items were falling off and poorly layered displaying lower level custom design skills. The cake itself was the incorrect flavor (ordered funfetti and got vanilla) and design was also poor. Recommendations would be to have someone quality check the designs after complete and to verify the order of cakes before baking so flavors are accurate. This is meant as a personal experience and opinion.

I tried to order a delivery to my son who is a student at NSU, via the EZ Street app. The first issue I had was that the delivery hours listed were only 11-2, which is extremely inconvenient as most students are in class during those hours. When our plans changed, I went in person to try to get the items I wanted. When I got there, about 3:30 Wednesday afternoon 8/24, the girl who was working didn't seem very interested in doing so. Nothing that was on the online menu or the delivery app was actually available, except for 2 cupcakes. When we mentioned the online menu. she stated she didn't even know there was one. She then said that if we weren't happy, there was another bakery in town we could go to and blamed being short-staffed. We did make a purchase anyway, and when I chose no receipt, she immediately went back to her phone and ignored us as we left with no Thank you or anything. I would recommend going elsewhere as this place doesn't seem very interested in doing business with anyone.

We were in town visiting on a Monday and saw her sign and of course our son wanted a cupcake. Unfortunately they were closed but as we were standing at the door the owner walked up and was so gracious to let us in for our son to get a cupcake as well as my husband! The best part they were delicious and we will be back again.

We get Christmas cookies from the Cakery every year. You know how sometimes you go to a bakery and the stuff is beautiful but doesn’t taste so good? Not the case at the Cakery. These cookies are DELICIOUS and beautiful! So delicious, we order 4 dozen! Worth every penny.
