Super friendly server. Huge portions. Very good. Basic 50's type diner seating. No grills, just solid home style food and service.

Quick to initial service, food slow to come an getting the ticket even slower. Would of preferred a potato salad than common fries for the price of the seafood platter.

The place was recommended by a friend. I read the mixed reviews and decided to give the place a try. Chloe was my server. I ordered the shrimp po’boy and fried chicken with a side of red beans and rice. The po’ boy was fantastic: lightly battered shrimp in a delicious and very crusty baguette with mayonnaise, tomato, lettuce and pickles. Simple and tasty! The fried chicken was also very good but the po’ boy was the star of the meal tonight. Service lagged at first but Chloe gave some very helpful suggestions and was attentive enough to make sure I never had to request for a refill of my soda. Great local place and lots of options to choose from.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance

I had a hamburger and added grilled onions and pickles. Patty tasted homemade not frozen. Excellent! Husband had the chicken fried steak with white gravy, mashes potatoes with brown gravy, fried corn on the cob and roll. He said it was all good and the steak was tender.Hours note: we arrived about 8 pm and they said they were closing at 8:30 & they had stopped taking friend chicken orders. I get it; no problem.Hours are:Monday ‐ Thursday 10:00 am - 8:30 pmFriday and Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pmClosed on SundayParking: In front and on side of the building.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly and family friendly. Had a family there with 3 kids.

Ordered a half hamburger poboy with onion rings .When I got home and sat down to eat , the onion rings were not in the bag . Very disappointed . I wasn't going to drive back on the other side of town to get those onion rings . It's obvious the person at the window doesn't check the orders . There is a problem in the kitchen area and the window . Duffy management needs handle up on that ASAP .

The brown gravy should have been called brown grease. Nasty. The price was ridiculous. Sadly this is the last time I go to Duffys.

I love all of the decorations that consisting of Marilyn Monroe ads, many things Elvis related (even the news paper article of his death), and much more! I love this place and I know many others will and do too!

I've been living in New Iberia for close to 4 years now and this is my first time visiting Duffy's. Definitely will Not be the last time. Fried Mushrooms were some of the best I've had in a very long time. Hot, not overly salty, and the oil tasted fresh. My wife really enjoyed her (half)shrimp poboy. I really liked the poboy bread and will likely get one next time we come. My hamburger steak was good. Seasoned well and hot. They let me upgrade from fries to a loaded baked potato ($1.75 upgrade) and it came out very hot. However, I didn't realize they used nacho cheese and when my server (Gabrielle) realized I didn't like it, she immediately replaced it with another using shredded cheese. Overall the service and food was great. We can't wait to come back.
