This is a family diner type of place that offers your regular “home cooking” meals, delicious burgers & also local favorites, such as corn shrimp chowder, which is my personal favorite. Shrimp poboy, onion rings, shrimp baskets… everything is really good. Service however is spotty. Our orders were missing fries and onion rings. I’m usually very gracious with my reviews. We picked this place, as we enjoy the 50’s diner atmosphere occasionally. The place was not very clean, nor welcoming. The fried pork chops were gigantic; however they were about 50% pure fat. It seemed the fryer grease was old. The onion rings had about the same over used grease taste as the coating on the chops. The potato salad was unlike any I’ve ever had (like mashed potato texture). I would visit again to give it another...
