We happen to stumble on this quaint resteraunt after awful service across street. Fate. Me and my husband had the flounder with ocean sauce, salad mussels, bottle wine and tirimisu and espresso drink. The food was was absolutely DELICIOUS! Service with Amy superb! Best service in New Orleans! We ate laughed and drank while downstairs had a live small band playing. A must experience when in French qtr!

In a week of being in New Orleans this was our single most disappointing meal, from beginning to end. Jeremiah H. looked miserable and had so much attitude the entire time we were there. He told all the other tables about the dinner specials, except us. We had 2 small bottles of sparkling water that were not chilled, they were warm. He gave us 2 cups of ice for the sparkling water which defeats the purpose of having sparkling water. I asked if the pasta could be cooked in the same sauce as the Chicken Vincent and he said he would check if it was ok, but it would be an upcharge. I said that was fine, but just asked what the up charge would be and he said he had no idea. Then he said they don’t do exceptions to the meals. I noted that this wasn’t listed on the menu, nor was which sauce the pasta is served with. He had a huge attitude and said, “ well we’ve been doing it like this for years.” He never came back to ask my husband what he wanted to drink, our appetizer came at the same time as our pasta which was supposed to be served with our chicken and fish. Our fish and chicken came solo, much later. The marinara sauce had way too much sugar in it. Would never eat here again and will not recommend. If a server is this unhappy, perhaps he shouldn’t work there.

Waitress was friendly I could tell the quality of an Italian restaurant it’s Veal Parmesan. The Veal was tough The right way to do it is to pound it out and marinated in wine overnight to tenderize it. The breading on the veal Parmesan was just OK. The sauce was fresh, watery and tasteless. Needed more garlic, onion and salt. I know cause I’m 100% Italian 😊

A group of eleven. Seated and served the most delicious food. A great spot. Outstanding service, warm and inviting team with a super menu and did I mention delicious food. Cannot fault a thing. Kudos to Lilly for taking such good care of us.
The food is absolutely delicious! It is not a very big place so I was a bit worried when I showed up with a group of 11, but the staff was very accommodating and put number of tables together for us. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals and the lamb chop special was exceptional! The service left nothing to be desired. Top notch. It was also nice to hear the overflowing live music from downstairs. Great experience.

The food and service tonight were horrible. The chef was angry and yelling at the staff. We got mussels and they tasted like dirty lake water. See picture, as they looked like it too. We asked our server to tell us more about them and he kept saying garlic and white wine. We had to flag the server down multiple times. They brought our sides before our appetizer. Just a crappy experience. Our third visit but definitely our last.
