I ordered a vegetarian and gluten free muffuletta. It was DELICIOUS. I would definitely recommend.

Upon asking details about the vegan muffuletta, the lady working said the "vegan" bread actually contains animal products because, "some people don't mind." This was the most ridiculous response and highly insensitive to anybody who reads vegan on the sign and assumes this means they are actually getting a vegan product. False advertising and could be incredibly dangerous for somebody like my son, who is highly allergic to milk and eggs. Atmosphere is within the flea market and is not at all a "bistro" by any means. Would not recommend.

We stopped for a Muffuletta, and it didn't disappoint. The woman working the counter was very friendly, and there was a seating area to enjoy your food.

Excellent food and friendly people! ??
The BEST (maybe only?) vegetarian muffuletta you'll get in the French Quarter. It's awesome but so are their other offerings. It does take a few minutes for the food, as they make everything too order but is so worth the wait.
