I forget her name, but I remember that she only works on Wednesday. Lol. She's a cool girl who knows her stuff. And she isn't tough to look at either. Go check her out, fellas. U won't regret it.

Love the atmosphere. Love the atrium in the middle.

Food was really good but the bartender had an attitude the entire night. During the superbowl the bartender got mad at people for cheering for touchdowns. Super disappointed, won't be returning.

Place was dead and committed a multitude of infractions according to their own rules including letting a minor into the bar. Bartenders also very rude! Please report this criminal place!

Seems like a nice place, good drinks, decent food, but I have to give three stars for the $14 cheese plate that only included four slices of cheese. Wish I'd taken a photo. The fries were nice. It was pretty loud but the atmosphere was good

I lived down the street from Ale for three years and absolutely loved the place. The setup is perfect. I describe it to my friends as "A casual bar on one side with great beers on tap, and then a nice wine/cocktail bar on the other side, connected by a patio between the two." They have something for everyone at Ale or Wine, no matter what you drink. They also have one of the best burgers in the city and you can quote me on that.I love going to Ale to watch a Pelicans games on one of their many TVs, and they open early for Tulane and LSU games sometimes too. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. Also the bathrooms are always clean. There are all sorts of people that come to Ale, whether they are locals, couples on a casual first date, a local business having a staff party, or a group of friends grabbing a drink before a show at the Maple Leaf.

Elite Neighborhood bar with good food

Good selection of beers at this bar. Don't bother with cocktails or wine. Service was good enough. We liked the chill ambiance.

I have been here several times, but only for drinks. The beer selection is impressive, Guinness on draft included, and the atmosphere is a nice low-key alternative to Oak Wine bar, which can be loud and frenetic at times. The service here is nice, not overly friendly. My friend and I made the mistake of ordering martinis here - they were made appropriately, but served in a small glass that wasn't filled anywhere close to the top. We thought it was a fluke and ordered another round- nope. Same 3/4 full tiny glass. I suppose we shouldn't have ordered martinis at a beer bar, but they are fully stocked. I'll be back but am never ordering a cocktail again.

Super cute place. One side is more casual and the other is more restaurants style to it. They have a good happy hour with wine and beer. And according to my cousin the Frankfurt sandwich he has was amazing! Definitely worth a visit

$1 off on pints Thursday and Friday, 5-7. Can't beat that. Very chill patio with plentiful quiet TVs. Fantastic beer selection (as the name 'Ale on Oak' would suggest).
