Not allowed to eat food up there and I was told to move when I sat on the circular sunbed because I wasn't with another person. Not entirely sure of the logic used by staff as the rooftop was near empty but I won't be returning.

Paid for pool pass. Arrived at 10am, no staff or any towels so couldn't use the pool. Just lots of trade workers fixing things up. Major rip off.

The ABSOLUTE ONLY downside is the music! HOWEVER the STAFF?! The food ?! The customer service ?! Everything is PHENOMENAL !!!! I LOVE this rooftop!

We went on a Saturday for a girls trip. There was no music at the pool at the pool. Although it was advertised that there DJ. The water looked milky so it seemed a little dirty. Our server came over to our cabana once to check on us when we first got there. After that we didn’t see her again we ended leaving after two hours. If you want like a chill pool day you should book. If you want a good pool vibe you should book somewhere else.

I’ve been here years ago when the pool was like $10 full access . It’s roughly $30 now but they put you in the corner with boring chairs lol away from the sun. -I understand as access becomes limited. But the actual look of the place is beautiful and def worth an experience. Rooftop. Very pretty. The drinks aren’t the greatest in my personal opinion. No liquor in it in my first - second just was downright spicy and not very tasty.

Do not pay for day pass and DEFINITELY do not pay for chairs as we did. When greeted it took time to find our reservation. We were told to sit anywhere we could find. There were no open seats and we were told they would make room for us. We went to the bar and got some drinks. When we returned to the host stand we were greeted as if we had just arrived. We reminded him that someone needed to find us a seat and they started the process again. Other guests without reservations were asked to move. Two more comfortable seats were vacated at the same time and we were told we could sit there. About 30 minutes later those guests returned and we were made to get up and wait for them to eject two more guests. It took an hour and a half to finally be seated. For the majority of the time, the pool had 75 to 100 people in it and there was no room for more. Eventually it thinned out and were were able to go in. The water, however, was extremely cloudy and dense, enough so that you could not see your feet. The setting was beautiful and could have been a great time but was definitely not inviting enough to try again

My wife and I bought day passes thinking it was a beautiful day to enjoy a couple of drinks and sit poolside. Great of your a hotel guess but if not and you're just buying a day pass ($30 each) your relegated to a shaded area with metal furniture that can beat be described as medieval torture devises. The only saving grace was the staff was nice and the food was decent. But I'm sorry if I'm paying money just to come up there, I should get full access. 0/10 do not recommend.

Extremely overpriced for the experience. $90 for a lounge chair that is falling apart and is thin, uncomfortable, and in the shade is ridiculous. $30 to enter would be fair if it included one of the lower quality lounge chairs. There are only a few lounge chairs that are cushioned and nicer. It does not make sense that both types of lounge chairs cost the same when one type is so much worse. More vegetarian options on the menu would be great, perhaps even a grilled cheese, not just salads.

Visiting from northern Canada, lunch at Alto was a highlight of the trip. Gorgeous rooftop bar with both pool lounge chairs and a few bistro tables. We visited around the lunch hour so it wasn't crazy busy, but with the cool vibe and hip atmosphere, I suspect it gets much busier throughout the day/night. They have a great menu to enjoy with equally great music alongside the beautiful pool.

We ordered the eternal summer cocktail, hummus with veg/pita, a mixed salad, and caprese panini with chips. Staff were friendly and laid back but service took a looong time. Confusion in the kitchen or something but hummus arrived after we were finished eating and they didn't really come by to check on the meal or refill water. That being said, the food and atmosphere are wonderful, I would both recommend and definitely go back the next time I visit.

Great place to grab drinks with a view of the New Orleans skyline. Wish they had better lighting in some of the seating areas though.

Rooftop patio, pool, bar NOLA Bohemian!! Great vibes! Great service!! Aston and Angel know “service” and truly could be held up as models for the service industry!! The cocktails are “summer gems” for an enjoyable “paradise” experience on a patio that exudes vibes of relax, unwind and imagine you are in “PARADISE”!

We were walking all over NOLA and stopped by here strictly for a drink on the rooftop and it didn’t disappoint. It was a quiet day so we got plenty of room to pull up to one of the fire pits and relax for a bit before we got back to exploring.

The pool is a nice spot to hang out in if you’re staying at the hotel, but the food at Alto is not worth it. They advertise freshly squeezed orange juice on their menu but it’s just regular store bought OJ, and their salad bowl was also quite disappointing.
